question can a child have a saving account? were trying to start one for her to save for her 1st car(because wr want alot of children) and of course college! we plan to do this for all of them.
Its like one of those Cd Accounts where the longer the money stays and you add to it. It gives more interest and more money in the long run.
Yeah thats fine. Try an IRA account so it will gain more interest
@hermommy, no problem. It might be easier. Don't stress the monthly goal if you make one though. Dig in those pockets and your wallet even if it's just a bit of change.
@raegenice thank you girl I didn't think to set a certain amount a month
I'm definitely gonna look into that! Thank you. At least make a goal to save 200-400 a month. But whatever you're able to contribute to baby's savings, put it in even if in the end you're only able to pay for half of their college😊
exactly lol it used to be I kept it cuz I did the laundry but now I have a jar on top of my dryer and when it gets full it gets split between the piggy banks lol
@sarahdrew good idea lol Joe leaves 20s in his pants that get washed all the time😮😉
@raegenice that's the thing i did 10×4 he gets paid evry week and it came up to 720😩 just scares me lol @raegenice but you have a point I keep thinking the tuitions are like super high I'm also starting on like scholarships the parents get their kids pretty soon😄 look into them girl @sarahdrew
plus some every paycheck.... and if we happen to have an extra 5 in our pocket we put it in..... any money found in the washer goes to the kids lmao
not really..... we put all our spare change in the banks, our 2 year old either says "thomas" (his bank is Thomas the train) or "piggie" (emorys is a pig with a tutu and tiara lol) when he find "moneys" lol
You could do $5-$10 a week if you've got it. That's a college tuition after 18 years😄
nvm i just did the math and 10 dollars a paycheck times 18 does nothing-.-
@raegenice @sarahdrew great ideas I was trying to figure out how to go about it, I know I want to put like 10 a paycheck that way when we have our Max it won't break us😄
@tracynangel yeah! thy will have damn good insurance so I'm hoping Bill's won't be an issue but definitely text books I'm hoping they're like me and buckle down on a sport or school and get scholarships that way they will have money to either get an apartment or something like that😩
we opened one for our son and will here soon for our daughter.... they each have a piggy bank and we take the money from them and put into their accounts
We are! Starting with a piggy bank and then we'll get him a savings account by the time he's 1.
And also medical bills come up and textbooks!
@tracynangel yes definitely i didnt get to figure that out i had full paid scholarships but i had many friends that couldn't go because they didn't have the money to pay for it and that broke my heart:/
@expectingz @xbbycolletto thank yall!! and I'm not handing anything to her lol especially if shes like me we plan to get her first car for her 16 th birthday but the college stuff if she gets a scholarship for whatever then she has spending money im guessing lol
Oh most certainly! My husband opened a college fund the day he was born and every paycheck, they deduct $100. College is so expensive!
yep! go ahead and get one started now. and hand it to them when. they're like 18. she can have her money for college, a car, and so forth. I wish my father would have done that to me. but when I was 18 is when his ass decided to try that. lol they're like "Uh... too late " we're starting a new change jar for xay and once a good bit of money is in it, we're opening an account for him so it can build up along with 5 additional bucks we'll put into it every week
Yes you can! You can do Gerber's grow up plan! You can also do one at your bank and have it earn interest. We are doing that once we start our new jobs!
Husband or child?!?!
I was watching Oprah and this woman was asked if her car went into a lake and she could only save her husband or her child, who would she choose. She said "I would save my husband because I can always make more kids with him!"
Eliana has 18 cans of formula thanks to wic and this coupon her GI doctor gave her for 6 free cans... that definitely saved me money cause her formula is $59 a can 😳
Anyone else’s baby don’t eat vegetables?!?! Mine’s won’t eat vegetables to save her life 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️

Saved a baby mouse today. Named him gizmo
I hate my generation sometimes ?
Today was my nieces baby shower, which went great. She got so much which amazing since she's been working 2 jobs trying to save up for the unpaid leave she'll have to take from work. Anyways I was talking to one of the ladies there since my son and her daughter were playing together. I asked her what her daughters name was, she said it was Layla. I told her that's a really pretty name and asked her if she was a Clapton fan and if she was named after the song. Th...
You can! We started one for our little one!
