Conor has fell/climbed out of his cot a few times now. Is he too young to go into a toddler bed ? I’m not sure how to keep him in the cot or the bed now , because it will be a nightmare with both boys and I’m kinda thinking it would be safer falling out of a toddler bed than it would the cot? Opinions and ideas welcome please!

My little one managed to successfully climb out of her cot this morning. She’s in her own room so I didn’t see her do it or how she did it. When did your little ones make the move to a toddler bed? I’m worried she may still be too young? (21months) With a new baby coming in 7 weeks, am I silly to start the transition to her toddler bed?
What age did you all give your lo's a pillow and duvet and swap cot for a toddler bed ? Xx
I’m just discovering more weird Hollywood stuff now. I’m still fairly new to these things. I need to open up my eyes more and dig deeper to find more crazy stuff. @lifewithlynnieandwill88, I just found this out today and had no idea. Now it makes sense why that guy isaac kappy “committed suicide”, when he came out and called him out and other people from Hollywood.😱

Oh no hope he okay ? Aaliyah been in her cot bed with the sides taken off & with the safety bar on the each side since she been 1 year old she just turn 15 month she get on and off her bed herself she not felt. Out as of yet. Xx

@erincharlieconor, I would say lower the cot bed and get safety rails on both side and see how you get on I think I paid £15 for the both on sale xx

I took ellis out of his cot around the time he was 1. He used to throw his bedding out so he had a soft landing. He also snapped one of the bars off (he was freakishly strong) it was safer to put him in a bed

Aye strong and smart boy there! Defo thinking it’s the safer option. Also Charlie climbs in the cot at night and then screams because he can’t get out 😂cautious he is! Then Conor will just fling himself out when no ones watching!

No advice with the cot because my sons never tried to climb out but you get these blow up booster things on amazon to help stop them falling out the bed. I saw them on Insta and they look really good.

I'd definitely take the rails off. If you're worried about him falling out you can use pipe insulation/ pool noodles under his sheet. Costs pennies, don't bother with a bed guard

I never bothered with a side rail or anything for Lexi, I just put a duvet on the floor but she never fell out. She went into toddler bed about 13/14 months old, she never tried climbing out or anything but she could get up and down things easily. Layla has not tried climbing out either she just sits there and shouts mama in the morning when she wakes up 😂 sometimes stands and just waits for me. I need to sort her room out because I've got things in there that I'm selling on shpock lol so no toddler bed for her yet! 🤦🏽♀️ I have read alot of people saying about the pool floats under the sheet because it's such a cheap alternative xx
