So ladies let me ask this question how many of you guys took the proper steps to ensure safety and got tested for herpies and well as none normal test for Sti and stds if so or if not why or why not

And I say this to say that I had a friend we worked together at a gas station and she was healthy until a coworker went and stole some of her drink which I did warn her but I guess she seen it to late this worker had what looked to be a sore on his lip and a few days later she was admitted to the er for falling ill after work and come to find out she contracted the hsv virus 🦠 so be careful of people around or near the baby’s cause not all have noticeable bumps or signs and it’s not deadly it’s just a hassle and I felt for her so ladies be swear
@kalixta, she’s ok I make sure she is she is regularly at doc she’s never had a out break it’s dormant her immune system is fighting but they told us when I told them they said we can’t prove it the only way would be if the Cams caught him and in the break room they dident have them

Wasent from her being nasty but some one purposely aiming to hurt us but it only effected her and I still get tested every six weeks cause sometimes it takes longer to develop but I’m not worried about it
Yes. As sexually active people, it’s our responsibility to maintain our sexual health and one easy way to do that is to get tested.
@cilla28, That’s their choice, but it’s pretty irresponsible in my opinion.
@cilla28, I feel like a lot of the reason as to why a lot of people don’t get it done is because they’re either to scared or have to much pride which is still gross either way. It’s better to be safe then sorry.
@mulatto.mama, yes it is being I’m a person who experienced chicken pox 3 times and almost lost my life to it I know what and what not to do
🙋🏻♀️... My husband & I have gotten tested before we started doing things together, then everytime they offered it at a prenatal appointment I got it done anyways. If you don’t in my opinion that’s nasty as hell especially if you have had multiple partners!
That’s true but they don’t test for that during pregnancy or regular follow ups it has to be request due to the cdc not seeing it as a mandated thing
@cilla28, for herpes? Yep i know, we’ve gotten tested for everything, I couldn’t be with someone who’s careless about stuff like that. But as far as for the other tests, they do offer those in the beginning of each pregnancy well my doctors office did.
I got tested for everything m, my husband as well, when we got together. I was his first, but it was necessary since I was diagnosed with hpv originated cervical cancer. With each pregnancy they test for hiv, which is standard
Yes that almost true but it has to be requested they don’t do them to do them at least in the us

@lizibear84, I mean not saying y’all not but you never know the next person intent she was good too till we ran across someone who wasent and it changed her life for ever so be safe and be mindful not all can be trusted
I was tested before meeting my husband because my asshole ex accused me of giving him chlamydia. All my tests came back clean 😏 dh was also tested.
If that experience didn't happen I probably wouldn't have even thought about getting tested/having a partner get tested.

I get tested everytime I have a papsmere done and also during each pregnancy even tho I'm married and never had a single STD or STI in my life.
