is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know the pic is how she traces when I'm "helping her" otherwise it'll just be scribbles all over the page

Stuck as in constipated?
My best advice is to keep it positive and be encouraging. It is a BIG step for them mentally and emotionally to control their bodies and use the bathroom and ultimately they control if they want to do it or don't. If there is a lot of pressure or negativity it can really backfire.

@teresha_h it can be super frustrating. My daughter really fought it until one day she just decided on her own she was doing it. I literally thought she would go to college in a diaper.

It is hard when they don't want to do it. You're doing a good job and I swear it'll just click into place one day and be fine. Always here if you need to vent!

Aww glad to see you’re still around. 🙂 I’m not sure if you remember me but for Maddie I just got her real excited about being a big girl.
Went out got her some big girl panties and I put her on the pot in front of the t.v until she peed for the first day. After that I would just ask her throughout the day if she needed to use it and eventually after about (2 weeks) it turned into a routine. The only thing that took time for her was nighttime. She wore pull-ups during night for about 2 months but after I stopped letting her have liquids after 8 we went ahead and transitioned to panties.

I got the panties on her and she sat on the potty then got up and peed a PUDDLE 😫😫🤯🤯 I try to ask her but she just says no no no cause she doesn’t want to. This will be a long journey. I cut off liquids around 8 too but I’ve been doing that cause this girl will pee a flood and I cannot 🤯🤯

Also I would say just give it time. Definitely stay consistent with trying to get her motivated she’ll start getting into the hang of things . Does she take her pull-ups off? That’s a good way to know if she’s ready or not.
