can i get my hair flat ironed while pregnant or should i wait til after birth? someone told me not to because of the postpartum shedding i will have after i give birth.

My hair grows so much faster n thicker during pregnancies so it's the best time to do it lol it's gona shed regardless so do what makes you feel good

I got silk presses both pregnancies. Pp shedding isn’t always immediate. It can happen up to a year after you deliver. Try talking to your doctor about postnatal vitamins.

i sure will. i’m on my 3rd bottle of prenatals & i read to keep taking them even after i give birth but i’d there are different vitamins i’m interested. thank you so much because i want one soooooo bad.

@queendope, my hair is always super healthy during my pregnancies so I couldn’t help it. Lol but yeah if you’re breastfeeding keep taking prenatals but I heard postnatals can help with shedding. Go have a salon day girl!

@amouryaya09, lol thank you! i sure will. i have too. my hair is too thick & pretty to not see this moment. especially after a year of the big chop.

Birth Plan Rant I used to be all about getting an epidural, but after research and thinking about it more I want to have an unmedicated birth (this is my first baby). What annoys me is when I say that I'm going to TRY my hardest to have a natural and unmedicated birth people always feel the need to say that I'm crazy or that I'm going to change my mind when I get in that position. Or that epidurals are the best. I do realize that plans change, but why can't people be supportive and encouraging?
