I was mom shamed today for breastfeeding my 4 month old, I was wearing a breastfeeding cover, my cardigan, and a tank…

Lol if they had approached me and said something directly to me I would've went off, they would of gotten educated on breastfeeding and possibly slapped in the face. 😂😂

@mom.zombie-xl i remember my youngest was cluster feeding the first night. Lol when i finally got him to sleep the nurse came in and i yelled at her. I felt bad because i was exhausted lol

@mamaxkat89 it is an amazing bond. Liam came out sucking his fingers so i immediately had him latch. And he put up no fight, no struggle. Latched and ate for a while. Before they even weighed him lol the nurses were shocked.

@amberdaugherty im not against formula either. But for X it was soooo hard finding the right one for him

@mom.zombie-xl Yeah with my oldest I breastfed for a little over 2 months because unfortunately my milk dried up so I was forced to switch to formula, I'm not against formula I just would've liked to breastfeed my oldest son longer than I did so i was very upset when my milk dried up out of nowhere. Thankfully with my youngest I've gotten blessed to breastfeed for this long and I got to celebrate national breastfeeding week with the rest of the breastfeeding moms this year. 😊

@mamaxkat89 it really is a blessing to be able to feed our children fron our own bodies. We knows what goes into our milk. I didnt know anything about it till i was pregnant with Liam. So i only breastfed my first for about 3 months before switching to formula. But with Liam, he was breastfed up until he was almost 2. I only stopped because of work and switch tp pumping

There needs to be more people like her in the world I wish she would of been there with me today lol! I can't stand the glares either it's really aggravating.

@amberdaugherty, exactly that, you’ve got to feel sorry for them really. It’s just so idiotic to think there’s anything wrong with breast feeding, I find it difficult to believe how such dumb people can survive day to day life 🤦🏼‍♀️

No, we were all underneath a tent and they weren't looking at me until I took my 4 month old out of his stroller and put my breastfeeding cover on to feed him. They made it very obvious that they were staring and talking about me because 1 of the 3 women got on her tip toes and was trying to look around my husband's cousin's head to see if I had my boob out which I didn't because I was completely covered up with my cardigan, my shirt, my tank top, and my breastfeeding cover. I looked at myself and I had nothing hanging from me, nothing on my clothes, and my hair wasn't in a mess because I had just fixed it and pulled it back so my hair wouldn't tickle my sons face or be in the way while I was breastfeeding, and plus they were making hateful looks, and they weren't very far from me at all so it was very clear that they were talking about me breastfeeding my son because we all had been sitting there for about 30 to 40 minutes before I started breastfeeding my son, and they hadn't looked at me once before hand. They were also sitting at the table right next to ours before they decided to stand up and watch their kids while they played and they hadn't looked at me once the entire time they were sitting next to us or standing up until I started feeding my son.

@amberdaugherty, My daughter’s pediatrician said the same thing that some babies are just gassy.. But nooooo I had to let other people’s opinion weigh in because they made me feel so horrible. I stopped eating everything, chocolate, dairy, greasy foods, gassy veggies and my baby was still gassy. So I tried to formula feed her for two days just to make sure it wasn’t my milk. And she was still gassy and guess what, my supply depleted 😩🤦🏽‍♀️. So she had to be formula fed from then on 😢. So my advice is to definitely not listen to anyone or let anyone make you feel bad for anything you do for the betterment of your children because it’s clear they don’t know 💩😒 about YOUR CHILD!

@mommyof1beauty Yes exactly some people have no clue what they're even talking about, I'm learning to not listen to anyone about my kids because they're my kids not theirs. Half the people who say negative things to me don't even know my kids well, they don't come visit, they don't bother to call or text to ask me how they are so 90% of people who say negative and irrelevant things to me about my kids haven't a clue of what they're talking about. People are so dumb nowadays.

Exactly what I told my family members, I said my baby has to eat and I'm not about to go to a nasty public bathroom or a hot car to feed my son. My family members were like they can kiss your a* if they have a problem with it.
