I have told my girl at work that when I first started working there that there’s this guy that caught my attention but I don’t how to move on after loosing my boys father in May. My girl wants me to ask this guy out tomorrow. Me and my boys father haven’t been together since last year but I’m still very deeply in love with him but I know he’s not coming back and it hurts to move on from someone that you shared kids with. After he passed, I took to alcohol and pain pills everyday, which I’ve been almost 2 months alcohol sober and almost a month pill sober all because of this guy I work with

Sounds as if you still need more time to get back to normal. Losing someone is hard. What about hanging out as friends and seeing where it goes from there? I wouldn't rush into anything just yet.
