@icestorm1123, good for you for defending your family my dad was never there my mom treated me bad as a child she’s nice to me now but I cut off all ties with her she hardly made an effort to be in my kids lives she asked why I never drove to her but she never drove to me either

@annarizzo123 yeah it is hard for him, he can't stand being in the same house with her, he barely even speaks or looks her way. You can tell he gets uncomfortable when she comes around. That's part of the reason why he went back to Texas to work. His brother is petrified of her and my FIL is rarely home cause she treats him so badly. She tried to come at me wrong a few times but I nipped that in the bud quickly especially since she wants to be around our kids, she knows I will not hesitate to revoke her privileges to spending time with them if she talk to me crazy or even think about treating me or my kids or my husband wrong. I'm the type that will speak up and I have plenty of times with her. She tried to mistreat my husband..I was not having that shit at all.

@annarizzo123 she does, from what I have heard, she abused my husband while growing up and hates him cause he looks like his biological father whom is not in the picture.

@annarizzo123 and showing her that her claims and judgement towards me are false. And showing her that I don't mind helping her out, I told her I would replace the spoiled food with fresh food, so she really has no reason to be upset.

@annarizzo123 you have a point, my cooking is better, and my cleaning skills are better than hers, but she complains I don't cook or clean to my husband and he always laughs at her and walk off...Everytime I cook the whole household enjoys what I make and bugs me to cook often..but when she does they eat out or bring back fast food. And her food is rarely touched, I eat it sometimes just to make her happy. She thinks I'm trying to outdo her or whatever but really I'm just showing her part of the reason why her son married me in the first place 🤷🏾‍♀️

@sarah.s, The lady we bought the house from was a hoarder, and she couldn't part with anything, even half broken toys from a dozen years ago. So much stuff. She couldn't even bear to have movers come and pack everything, because she'd "lose control" over her belongings.

That is crazy she was mad. My MIL wont let us clean her house or she will get mad. You can't walk in a few bedrooms. Basement is a maze as well. Her daughters have offered to clean it. They even thought maybe when she is out of town then go clean it.
