How do I get prepared to get induced at 5am in the morning? I have never been induced and for some reason I've never been nervous about labor but now I am.
Does being induced slow the process? Help ease my head lol I feel so goofy about feeling scared.
I always hear about "alot" of ladies getting induced at 37-39 weeks without a medical reason...but I honestly never see these posters. If you were "medically" induced between 37-39 with no medical reason, please share. Straight up being nosey, no judgement 🤷🏾 ♀
They should've never told me I was getting induced lol I keep having dreams about it everytime I fall asleep 🤦🏽 ♀ 😂

Mine was a spontaneous induction so I didn’t have any preparation lol I wasn’t allowed to eat and it took ten hours from the start of the pitocin drip to delivery

@mommyof4plus2, I was 37 weeks and I decline cervix checks so I don’t know what my status was beforehand. But when I checked in I was at 2 cm and had irregular contractions for the past 4 hours. I went in because I couldn’t feel my daughter and they ended up finding I had preeclampsia so they admitted me lol

@mommyof4plus2, after my experience I wanted to get the epidural with my son and what do you know I almost had him at home 🙄🙄 lol

I was induced with my last...checked in at 8, had him at 3:30. Basically they just hooked me up to pitocin and waited

it was actually...my water broke on its own at 10:30 and I was at a 5...I couldn't feel any contractions so I got my epidural before I felt any pain and only pushed for 9 minutes!

I mean all inductions are different. And having multiple kids it might be a somewhat quick process. For me I went in and they got the pitocin going. I wasn’t progressing and then they broke my water. Continued the pitocin and 25 hours later I was finally ready to push. That was with my first though. I can tell you pitocin induced contractions are known to be worse than natural contractions. Just communicate with your nurses. I hope it’s a smooth and easy labor and delivery 🤞🏼
I shaved and painted my toes in preparation for my induction too 😂
Oh and I wasn’t allowed to eat either.

Last labor water broke at 330am i got up took a shower put on my make up and on the way went through McDonald's drive thru for breakfast on my way lol got to the hospital at like 630am 🤣🤣🤣

My last was induced and it was the smoothest labor ever. And it was nice knowing when to go in and all that so I could plan for someone to keep my other children.

That was a fail all around for me my sister a b no help just broke it to me she wasnt helping my aunt cant and soooooo i have to get 3 toddlers and a 8 yr old up at 4 to take with us 😭i am so worried

I prepared by going out to eat whatever I wanted to and then snacking until I couldn't anymore. Then I had the nervous shits 😂

Mine was awful. Contractions came way too fast and way too hard. They got bad out of nowhere so the epidural didn’t even work. Hours later my body started pushing on its own but the dr said it wasn’t time to push. I pushed anyways and she got pissed and sent in the sweet midwife who sat with me while I pushed. Out of nowhere she jumps up and is like baby time ! I was so exhausted I got her head out and pretty much blacked out. I had to be cut without numbing from vagina to butt. The midwife reached her arms in me and pulled her out. They called a code and about 5-6 nurses ran in and started working on my baby girl cause her head had been out to long and she wasn’t breathing. It was awful I will never be induced again unless I absolutely have to for the baby
