Mamas.
I have a question for those teachers or moms who had kids ride the bus in kindergarten.
My daughter will be riding the bus, on her first day she'll ride the bus. Do I follow and go to the school to see her to her desk or just send her off on the bus and let her do it?
I'm not sure. I know that they said something like they will have alot of people helping the kindergarteners getting to the class they should be in. They will have tags they will wear for help on where they should be.
@lex105, yeah common to have the name long tags on young children hope she has a good first day
Is there a meet the teacher night where you can see her classroom and meet the teacher? You should call the school and see what the policy is for the first day. At my school parents of kindergarten kids come in for a whole half day orientation before the actual first day.
We always have a meet and greet before hand to drop off supplies. Like the day before school starts.
We have orientation soon but idk if we will be able to sit her at her desk or "spot" on the first day
My mom put me on the bus and met me at school on my first day. She didn’t tell me that she was meeting me there but I remember feeling so relieved when I saw. So much so that 25 years later I still remember it. She took a few pictures of me in line and kept her distance to allow me to be a big kid with the comfort of knowing she was nearby
See that's what I would do. Im already so nervous for her to ride the bus and then if im just like okay see you later I don't want her to freak out.
At my sons school they don’t want any of the parents going to the classroom with the kids. I think it’s weird that they won’t let you. Might want to check with her school first.
Im definitely going to ask at orientation. But that's in 3 weeks. I was Just wondering others experience.
My kids school will let us walk them in the first 3 days and you have to check in at the office. It’s just a matter of safety.

Her helmet she got so she can be safe (as she told me) when she rides her bike and scooter lol
Am I wrong for not wanting anybody to ride my sons bike but him hes 3 and he has a auntie who is the same age as him but I dont want her to ride it either...
I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!

Ok is that cradle cap on her eye brows, and if it is how do I get ride of it it’s spreading and I want to catch it if it is
I don't care what ppl think of me, but I'm seriously considering putting my baby up for adoption. I love her with all of heart, but doing this alone is hard. Every single night she just screams to the top of her lungs and I do everything to soothe her. I don't know what to do at all. I wish I had some kind of help. I don't have a single ounce of help. I don't know a single soul in Minnesota either.
My son’s were always taken by me ,, I rem when my son was in Elementary he was a safety patrol and he would help all the kindergartener s off their bus and show them their class room and at the end of the day he would go to each class and put them back on the right bus ,Does your school do this ?
