Most seats will need replaced for any accident. Even if there’s no visible damage, there can be unseen damage and the seat could malfunction in the event of a real car accident when it’s needed to perform. If you filed the accident through insurance, they MAY cover a new seat. But that depends on the insurance company. If not, the Cosco brand seats from Walmart are inexpensive and can be used temporarily until you have the money to replace with the same seat you had if you’d like.
They didn’t make a claim on insurance because it didn’t do any damage to the car and they were nice. We were literally going 3 mph
@morganavery3, you can call graco customer service and ask due to the circumstances. But most times they say it needs replaced. Better to call and ask and replace if needed instead of continuing use and something terrible happen if it weren’t to work properly.
@morganavery3, if it was truly that slow, they may say it’s fine. Just call and ask! I hope it goes in your favor. Car seats can be expensive. But the cosco seats are only like $40 if they say it needs replaced.

Less than 5 lol no way if your cars not damaged I’m sure the seats not damaged either.
You can take it to the fire department or police station to be looked at and they can tell you if it needs to be replaced or not. My sister just did
