So faye has hand foot and mouth, but she's fine in herself, wouldn't even know she has it. But, she's asking to go to nursery to see her friends, and yesterday she was fine all day, and has been this morning. My family are telling me not to send her in and that the nursery might not be happy. She really wants to go so now idk what to do.
I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!
So lemme get this straight ML is made at @aliciaandray because she referred to her n her dude as colored?????? Yet she has a different shade as well so she in the coloring box too so what's the problem did she call y'all kids colored or anything??? I'm confused as to y so many ppl care low key
Her helmet she got so she can be safe (as she told me) when she rides her bike and scooter lol
My baby girl has gotten so fat. She was just in preemie clothes now she's outgrowing her newborn

My daughter got hand foot and mouth and nursery wanted me to keep her off until it was completely gone because it's very contagious. I caught it off her, it's horrible! I'd be so pissed off if a parent sent their kid in knowing they had something like that and she caught it...

I'm pissed off mines caught it aha. I just read that you could send them if the blisters had scabbed over and tbh she's only got one or two on her feet that are tiny. So I just thought she'd be alright since she's perfectly well in herself and it's been over the 5 days I was told she would be contagious for. But I'm keeping her off until Friday as the blisters in her mouth are gone anyways, so she should be fine by then. Xxx

You can take then into nursery with it. I have worked in multiple nursery and it's all the same.

There isn't actually an incubation period for Hand foot and mouth according to nhs. But each nursery may take their own view on this so I'd ring up. Where I work they can go in if their fine in themselves.

Nursery life! My boys went through a phase they caught everything one after the other. They both had chicken pox and hand, foot and mouth in the same year 🙈 Its kind of like chicken pox though. Their infectious before any spots/ blisters show so most are at nursery perfectly fine before parents realise it's hand foot and mouth. The damage is done & it will inevitably spread around the class.

Well someone's sent their child in with it that's how mines caught it, but yea she isn't going in xx it says if they've ha dit for five days they won't be contagious that was all but, I'm going to wait until its completely cleared. X

My nursery don't allow children to be sent in if they have anything like HFM/chickenpox/mumps etc..
Only a cough or cold is allowed x

That's where she got it from, but she's had it for about 6 days now, I've never known anyone to have it so wasn't too sure. I went online and it says it's fine to send them but I think i will keep her off anyways, she hasn't got blisters it's just red spots under the skin now xxxx

You cant send a child into nursery when they have something contagious for other children to get x
