@erincharlieconor, I had mine done in school :) at 12 years old :)
They don’t do that anymore though... they mainly do it when they are babies now :)
Yeah Maya got a blister, they all blister and then she was just left with a white spot (scar) you can see it on her skin as she is dark :) if she was white like me you wouldn’t be able to see it I guess xx

Nope :) Maya had hers 6 weeks :) BCG is different from others... it’s not offered to everyone...
But there’s a high risk of TB in my area that’s why it’s offered :)
Some children don’t get it :)
She will have her other ones at 8 weeks xx

Oh so if your in a high risk area are u not offered it??? My daughter is offered it but I’m so scared to give it as she’s way too young 🙈 but she will obviously have her vaccines in the coming weeks so I might just cancel the bcg and speak to my gps and if they say have it I’ll get them to do it for her

@leanne2016, Yeah it depends where you live :) but my area is high risk so it’s offered :)
No need to be scared hun :) there’s no reaction with the BCG, no calpol needed etc :)
If you’ve been sent a letter then get it hun :)
Maya would’ve had hers done earlier than 6 weeks but wasn’t mentioned until then :) xx
