So Everytime my son is out of medicine (he's ADHD). And goes to school, they always send him home. As early as 10 in the morning sometimes. Tell me how can they just send a kid home just because they don't want to deal with him??? I'm a nervous wreck sending my son to school tomorrow since I have been trying for 2 days to get a refill on his prescription and the doctor keeps telling me it should be at the pharmacy that they sent it over. So i call the pharmacy, they don't have it. It's been the same cycle for 2 days now. And not only that it's like that every single month. Everytime I ask for a new prescription at the end of the month. It's just ridiculous. I am so stressed because of it and the stress is causing a migraine. This sucks completely

I've never heard of a school sending a child home. I have ADHD myself and there was plenty of times that my doctor would adjust, lower, change etc my medicine which could cause a delay in a refill due to the insurance I was never sent home from my school. I feel so bad for your son.

Make sure they order the medicine every month u have to call in the pharmacy and put in a request for it. That way they don't run out.

They can't do that with this medicine. It's a substance medicine.. meaning people can take it improperly like a drug so I can only a week early. I can request a prescription to be sent to the pharmacy but the thing is they always do this round cycle thing that I mentioned and it doesn't end up getting there till he's been out for a few days

Yes they can have it ordered for you every month because I had them do it for my son's adderall

They won't do that here. I have to call every month to get a prescription sent over to the pharmacy. Then today the pharmacist said when my SO went to pick it up because it was finally there. They told him that he has to come back later around 6 because they didn't fill it up because we needed to call them and say we can pick it up before they fill it. Even though I was there a few hours earlier today for my toothache prescription and I checked on my son's while I was there....
