My husband takes his cousin girlfriend to work. Should I be worried about the FEMALE coming on to my husband?
And I’m officially a single mother and will be loving, caring, and providing for my son on my own. My son will not have a father in his life which is sad very sad bc his mother tried so hard to co-parent and make something work out for the better. Did everything I could but I refuse to be disrespected for having a baby w/o knowing who the father is. But I rather have no father in my child life then the men I’ve dealt with to raise him or be apart of his life.💯💔Can’t force anything on anybody so I’m leaving it in Gods hands and will hope for the better.
I'm not bitter towards my son's father, rather I am heartbroken by his decision to not be a part of our son's life. Don't get me wrong, I've got a lot to be bitter about in regards to my Son's father, but my bitterness is not important but it has been replaced with sorrow for my son and the knowledge that my son will never get to meet his real dad. I know God has a specific plan for my little piglet and I in the absence of his father, but it still makes me so sad especially today knowing that my son is 11 days old and we haven't gotten a single attempt from his father.
Never been so hurt in my life.. Please tell me if I'm wrong for this , mom got upset because she payed for my baby shower by herself with no help , my baby father mother didn't ask not once, I told him how I feel and he goes well my mom don't have money she has bills to pay 🙄 so I said well so does my mom ! But I'm not complain , but yet his mother brought him a stroller & car seat but hasn't brought my son not ONE thing 🤔! His family begged to be invited to the baby shower but NOONE showed up ! Not even his mom and grandma ! My family & friends came and I thank them for coming ! If it wasn't for my mom , family & friends my so wouldn't have the stuff he has now ! But I'm the bad person 🤔🤔 .. Now tell me is it wrong that I'm falling out of love with him 😔 that I'm better off a single mother because I do for him without asking him for help ! & btw his mother only saw my son ONE time since he been born but that's okay I'm not stressing it ! They treated my baby father daughter better then my son but it's cool ! IF IM WRONG PLEASE ME KNOW
Honest opinion am I overreacting....so my mother in law and sister in law didn't call my son on his birthday on Wednesday. Yet they knew it was his 2nd birthday. I was so upset and hurt because we've lived with them so I considered them like my actual family. My mom threw a surprise party for my son that night it was literally only my sister, brother, mom and aunt and one of my friends and of course us. Well my mom decided to go fb live with us singing happy birthday. My mother in law comments that why didn't we tell her anything so I tell my mom if she really cared she would've called him to say something.Even family members that I don't talk to often messaged him a video singing to him! So the next day I receive a message from my sister in law asking me why I didn't invite them. I then explained that either of them called to tell him anything. So then she was like well you could've still invited us and then I explained that it wasn't my right to do anything since it was my brother sister and mother throwing it for him! So then I told her that they were more than welcome to throw him anything if they truly wanted to needles to say they were mad because they weren't invited to my son's surprise party. And I apparently should've told them to call my son super frustrating. Well I'm so glad my family loves my son and spoils him they do everything for him so I am truly blessed. Just gets me upset because birthdays are a big deal in my family.

I'm in between. It's not cool to deny your daughter those memories with her family. But then i also wouldn't let my family treat my kids different either.

Spend it with your FAMILY, that's the 4 of you, NOT your relatives. Your marriage, your children, your choice.

It's not harsh at all. Whatever you allow now will set a precedent for future behavior. Better for them to not have grandparents than grandparents who will treat them differently in such a manner. They will already be learning hard lessons from the world around you, they don't need to learn favoritism against or for one another from so called family.

That’s what I’m saying they are gonna make my kids grow up to hate one another because one was a favorite and one was not

@lexigravera2497 Both of mine are my inlaws biological grandchildren and they only care about my oldest. They want nothing to do with my second born. It was not easy for my husband to say something to him parents and he knew once he did there was no going back and that bc of their culture and personalities it would not go over well. But he did what was right for our girls knowing that they deserved to have people who would help them build their relationship with one another. That is the very most important relationship (other than with God, future spouses) in their lives, not break it down. Well, he politely said something and they blew their tops and walked out. Goodbye! We have been more than patient, respectful, and prayerful hoping it would change. But it only got worse and affected my almost 3 years old. Her behavior got really bad. They undermined us as parents and ignored her new baby sister. She didn't understand and couldn't express herself. That is not fair, not right, NOT ok!!! And your little boy doesn't deserve that from his grandparents, blood related of not. He is a precious little child who is not old enough to have done something to deserve such treatment. Talk to them and give them a chance to rectify their behavior and if it doesn't work change, walk away. You and your husband must make a United front and be on the same page easy or not. You don't always have to like whatever the decisions made are but you must stand together to make the very best choices for BOTH of your children!!! It's not always easy but trust me it is worth it!!!!!!!!!!! My little girl is almost back to herself now and we have an incredible amount of peace in our home life now.

Sorry for the book here, but something else: it's not just your children who you are protecting by being strong and putting boundaries now, you are also protecting yourself, your husband, and ultimately your marriage. Marriage has no room for negative outside influences.
