If anyone that gives their babe formula can help me out with this I would truly appreciate it.. I had been giving my daughter similac advance for 2 weeks and for the last week she was constantly spitting up (various amounts, sometimes just a little sometimes a lot) being very fussy always crying as if she was in pain and barely sleeping so I went to the doctor to get their opinion. They had a hunch that it could be reflux and prescribed her ranitidine and sent us home. (Obviously I know medicine takes time to kick in especially in babies) but 24 hours later same thing, she kept me up all night until 530am screaming her lungs away so I gave them a call again in the afternoon suspecting it could be the formula as well so I asked them what to do. They said change her over to similac sensitive, I started giving that to her Wednesday night now yesterday and today she has spitting up mostly all of her bottle while I burp her, even hours after she still spits, cries hysterically and then falls asleep.. I have the suspicion it’s still the reflux I’ve still been giving the ranitidine but i hate seeing my baby in pain. Any advice? Should I start her on something else? Should I wait it out? Please someone help :(

Try a different brand of formula sometimes the sensitive ones or gentle ones are better for reflux.

I would try a different brand, I mostly breastfeed my baby but the times I’ve given her formula it’s been Enfamil Neuropro Gentlease & it hasn’t had any negative effects so far. You should ask your pediatrician’s opinion first but I definitely recommend trying it. Good luck ❤️
