I don't know if anyone else felt/feels this way but I'm only 22 and the first in my friend group to get pregnant and it's really lonely because most of them just want to like go bar hopping or travel and none of them understand what it's like to be pregnant:( I want some mom friends that understand ya know? Especially since I just moved I don't really have anyone
@yamip91 I'm sorry you went through that! If you ever want a friend or someone to chat with I'm here! I completely hear what you're saying, I started to realize that when i only had like one or two people who still reached out after I got pregnant. Don't need those other people anyway 💁
@haylmarieexo thank you I really appreciate it ❤️
@teighlor_dantzler I'd love that! I just moved to Waterbury CT idk if that's any closer, but I'm always down to message with people :) I'm going to be a SAHM for awhile until I find a job in my field so I can only imagine that it gets lonely
I had 0 frinds before getting pregnant and obviously have 0 friends now....but I went through something similar with my brother...long story short we are no longer in contact because aside from all of our issues and the BS he did to us, he doesnt understand that I am a mother, my girls come first! They have a routine and a bedtime. I cant just go out until 3-4 am like we used to before I had them.I have also changed as a person, motherhood changed me...
so what Im saying is, those are not really your friends, if they were then they would understand you. Pregnancy brings out everyones true colors.
My friends are the same way. I have a almost 2 year old and all my friends wanna do is go drink and party and stuff. I'm about to be 23 in a few days I had my baby when I was 21. So you can always message me to talk if you want sweetie.
I understand I got pregnant at 19 with my first and basically lost all of my friend 🤷
I dont live that close but we can always message each other! I'm 23 and the first person in my friend group to have a baby. Plus I'm a SAHM so a little lonely.
I don't know how many times I've seen this on here but I would really like to make it clear that it takes about 5 or more weeks of being pregnant before you actually know you're pregnant...
Will your Mom be in the delivery room?
My mom made it sound like she was gonna be in the delivery room when I give birth, and quite frankly, I would just like it to be me and my fiancé. It's our first, and I want to share that special moment with just him. I don't want to hurt her feelings, and I know this is something she would really like to be a part of. So I feel bad telling her no.
I really hate tampons. I know we need them, but I really really hate them.
I know doctors reccomend against it but I am CRAVING salami. And I really don't want to have to cook it. Is it really that horrible to eat? Has anyone eaten cold cuts while pregnant? What's the deal? 😫😫
I know I've posted this before but when your water was leaking did it stay leaking or just with movements or what? Did you get contractions shortly after or no? I rolled out of bed and felt warmth leak out but Idk if it was possibly urine or what...never had it happen. It didn't smell like anything really...I know I should either call l&d or go in but I just want some experiences please. I want to wait a bit just in case it's nothing.
You’re not alone. I think a lot of us have been through this. Try not to feel too down about it! The trash is taking itself out. You’ll make new friends.
