I really hate tampons. I know we need them, but I really really hate them.

Bye

There’s cups and pads if you hate them that much!

@mommyandstepmommy sucks to be a female sometimes🤷 what if we had it the other way around where we had periods all month and 1 week off with no periods? 😬

Ever since I had my son I just wear pads. I could care less if anyone sees it either lmao like I’d much rather be comfortable 😭👌🏻

Pads are so gross. It's like wearing a wet diaper that rubs up against your body all day. They never stay in place and shift constantly. They also cause a rash sometimes. I'd choose tampons over them any day. But now I can barely wear tampons because I have horrible heavy periods

@badwolfmomma15 I fill I giant over night pad in less then an hour the first 2 to 3 days. And lots if clots. I have a thickening of the uterus for no reason that started after having kids. They did testing a few months back to determine this.

I wonder if that’s what I have. Because that’s how I was with pads. With the menstrual cup I fill it within 3 hours throughout the day on my heaviest day. And the menstrual cup holds 30ml so I find it super crazy and definitely it normal. I’ve been meaning to make an appointment with my ob to see what’s up.

could be. Tell them how much you are bleeding. But the thing that stuck out to the doctor was that I started spotting for a week before my period. That's when he suggested I get a hysterosonogram done and a biopsy done to rule out cancer. And during the sonogram he saw how thick the lining of my uterus was. So now my only option to stop the crazy bleeding and clots is to go back on the pill, which I don't want to because I was on it long enough on and off for almost 20 years, or get a unterine ablation done.

ok thank you so much! I just really getting tired of tampons.. so another wired question. Can you have sex with it in or not

massmomma16

MassMomma16

@mommyandstepmommy, no, you have to remove it for sex . It definitely takes some getting used to but once you do, you won’t regret it

I plan to use cloth menstrual pads since I'll also be having my baby wearing cloth diapers.

@crumbsnatchersmama19, I mean yeah I saw the commercial too and that’s what got me interested in the product. But someone actually tested it and there was still germs. I’ll try to find the link for you it’s an interesting read. Just because a product says it does something doesn’t mean it’s true 🤷🏻‍♀️
