My 3 year old daughter got kissed by a maybe 5 year old boy at the library and a full on open mouthed kiss. It looked like the boy had been encouraged by a much older boy maybe 12 years old. What would you have done if this had happened to your daughter? How do you explain that this is not ok to your child?

Nahhhhhh not cute to me. I'd be freaking out not knowing what the little boy could have. I would probably tell her kissing is for grownups and she can only kiss daddy and mommy because kisses are special

@ljsmommy22, Yes! That’s exactly how I felt. I wasn’t sure exactly what to say at the time but I was furious that this older boy was just sitting here encouraging this behavior. So annoying! I now know that parents have initiated the boys have cooties hahaha. Because that’s basically what I told her. Man sometimes parenting is hard. I usually try to find books to help me find words but this just took me out of nowhere! I’m glad I saw it and was there but it happens soooo young😩! I didn’t think I’d have to deal with this for years to come!!
