I can’t speak as mother to child. But as a 23 year old that dated a 33 year old man for 2 years, it wasn’t weird at all.. some people mature differently than others and honestly it’s all about connection. & as I was an adult, my mom had no problems and they got along great !

i know a girl, we used to be good friends, just turned 20 & she married a 37 yr. old. I personally wouldn’t do it myself, and if i has a daughter & she did it might make me uncomfortable at first but as long as he treated her right w respect and they are in love & happy thats all that matters

My SIL is 28 and my BIL is 48. They started dating when she was 19 and he was 39. They are happy, so I’m happy for them.

She’s an adult what’s the issue? Age is just a number once you are an adult. Why would there be anything wrong with that age gap? My parents are 11 years apart...never posed an issue for my moms to have an age gap of almost 12 years. My husbands 7 years older then me. My brother is 9 years older then his wife.
