@takiahilk okay well listen, i breastfeed all 3 my babys so I thought this time around I'd be a PRO but turns out you never truly know it all even if your a seasoned mommy! Well this time around it hurt so bad, my nips felt like they were about to fall off! I nearly cried EVERYTIME she latched and while she feed I hurt so bad. So her pediatrician suggested maybe she is not latching deep enough, he said its NEVER supposed to be pain!so he said study YouTube videos to learn more then i already knew... i researched and this video turn EVERYTHING all around and helped me. Breastfeeding automatically started working when i tried everything in the video...

P.S rub breastmilk on your nips each time and randomly after feedings it helps heal your nips...

@takiahilk i know it's hard at first but youll adjust to the new routine. Every time you nurse you release oxytocin into your system and will feel happy but tired. Also every time you burp him sniff him, especially his soft spot. Also releases oxytocin. Itll help you cope with the lack of sleep and soreness. It'll help keep the blues away too

I felt this exact same way! The nurses were really helpful until the lactation consultant came. But it hurt and no one told me it would. It gets easier and easier!

@takiahilk itll take a bit for lanolin to help moisturize your nipples. Give yourself time and make sure youre resting lots.. which is hard cause you dont wanna put the baby down 😫

They dont really do anything. They just see how you latch and leave. If hes latching well and youre using lanolin youre going to be ok. My second time with Cassie the consultant just came in for a minute saw my nursing and was like well damn, youve got this and left 😂

Just take your time latching, aim your nipple at the roof of the mouth. Use lanolin in between nursing sessions. It will get better i SWEAR
