@simply how did your U/S go today! It is really exiting ! Can't wait for retrieval . I asked nurse if my ovary was going to pop and she said no and that it was normal . Lol!

@ttc 2... I was on bcp for a few weeks so no follicles were seen on baseline scan. In my previous scans for iui, I had like between 10 to 17 follicles per ovary. I don't have pcos, just have a right super ovary according to doctors but it hasn't given me a healthy BFP yet :/. Are you doing retrieval now also?

Baby dust!!! We're at similar stages! I had my second u/s today and have about 16 follicles!! Definitely feeling 'full'!! Have to go back on Sunday for another u/s to see how these are growing!! Exciting times!

@hmain that's great numbers! Rooting for all of us :) are you doing fresh transfer or FET? I'm doing FET so i still have a ways to go ?

Doing a fresh transfer. Going back tomorrow for another scan as some of the follicles were too small to measure! It's getting closer, excited and scared!!

I had 16 tiny follies at my baseline scan. But Friday's scan only showed 6 in the 10-14mm range. :/ Most likely due to my age. I go back on Sunday and they will tell me for sure the day my trigger will be. Most likely will do ER on Wednesday. ???

Update: leaving doctor... I think retrieval is on Monday! Thank goodness bc I'm really over all those needles! My doctor was definitely not stingy on the meds....Not looking forward to the butt injections for FET but my hubs is kinda haha! Nurse told him he has to rub my butt after injecting....Doctor said he was going to give me a pinch and a dab of more menopur and gonal tonight... then trigger... 10,000 units hcg. Not 5,000 like I see on here some posting. Really hoping for good quality. They gave me lots of supplements also, baby aspirin, coq10, dha, dhea, l arganine, and prenatals. Drank tons of coconut water... it's seriously a miracle compared to Tylenol for the headaches . We all need just one good egg! Let's do this! Exited for everyone !!! Baby dust sprinkles everywhere !!!

Had another scan today, thought I would be triggering tonight but nope, another scan tomorrow!! Think that means trigger tomorrow then retrieval Wednesday!!

Me too. Follies not quite ready yet. Go back for another u/s tomorrow. Now there are telling me probably ER on wed OR Thursday. It's just getting later and later. Lol

I just got the call, trigger tonight at 10.30!! ER on Wednesday morning!! Eeekk!!

I went in both Saturday and sunday! I triggered last night and ready for retrieval tomorrow 7am! my 20 follies on the right turned into like 12 by sunday... but 12 big ones... doctor explained the unhealthy ones don't make it and get resorbed. they have to have some sort of antibody but I forgot which one he mentioned... on the left I now have 6 worth counting . still said these were good results so I'm hoping all these have good quality eggs in them!

Soleil those are great numbers. We have to remember that we only need one!

Hubby's vasectomy reversal didn't work so we are just PRAYING there are sperm in the testes. :/ we find out on Wednesday. It's do or die time.

And of course we will freeze the eggs if not. But donor sperm is not an option for us. :/

Soliel I think they counted 6/7 over 17, which is the size they're happy with. There were a few others below that, about 4 so I don't know if they'll increase by tomorrow. But I think they're pretty good numbers.

Let us know how your retrieval goes!! I'm getting nervous! I've never been in theatre before or been under sedation!

@Simply @hmain sending you girls lots of positive vibes for smooth retrieval s this week. . Did they do hcg test today to see if trigger was in your system? I went in for that yesterday and all tested well. The worst part of today was getting the IV in ... after that, don't remember much but I know I woke up and the first thing I said was "how many did you get" ?.... they got 17 and told me that was a good number . Embryologist said he couldn't tell the quality of the eggs yet but was hoping for no ICSI... I told him to do it if he needed to . They got way more eggs out of my right ovary so I am pretty sore now. Laying with a heating pad and my furr son (doggie) by my side. Advice.... stay calm before, don't freak out and cry like I did today and stress out my husband (poor guy, I've been crazy hormonal today ). Also drink coconut water tonight so you are not that dehydrated I. The AM. It was really difficult to find a vein today bc I was so dehydrated. They made me stop drinking last night around midnight... I should have had a coconut water before bed but didn't :/ at least I didn't puke after anestesia. You girls will be fine! Hoping we all getBFP very soon. I'm doing PGS so still weeks away

I haven't been asked to go in to see if the trigger is in my system, guess they just assume? I'm not too nervous just now actually, thought I would be, think as I've been in so often recently lol. Think I will be tomorrow though, and like you I'll ask straight away about numbers!! Do you still bloated and uncomfortable? Are you very sore? Ive got the rest of the week off work thankfully so that will help!

So turns out only 5 fertilized and they didn't look good :(. Doctor and embryologist called to tell me it's not looking good and that I have bad egg quality.... that's what I was worried about since I had the blighted ovum.... so we switched from PGS to fresh transfer this weekend if at least one makes it.... they said I'm lucky if one or two make it :( not sure what will be next step. Maybe donor eggs but not sure I can afford that . So crushed .

Oh no I'm so sorry!! Do try and keep positive though cause you never know, you're not out yet, you never know how many will survive. Fingers crossed for you and keep us updated, you're in my thoughts x

Thank you . What meds did they give you for the fresh transfer? I'm on progesterone oil injections, a steroid , and an antibiotic.... no estrogen?? Not sure why

I've only got progesterone gel that I've to insert twice a day, that's it! Nothing else. Unless on the day of transfer they give me something...

Ok so I'm glad seems like I'm not missing out on other important meds....really hoping I get one of those embryos to make it. :/ this is so difficult

The whole journey is difficult, which is why we need each other, so many people have no idea how difficult and emotional and stressful this journey can be. We need to just rest and relax for the next stage. You're in my thoughts x
