So threw up the brew but still having some contractions. I suppose it will help dilation.
Sigh so I guess my appointment for Friday to get monitoring is still on .
I hope my fluids stay consistent.
Im glad you threw it up because that shit is very dangerous.
My son had pooped when my water broke with him. Luckily it had happen so close to labor. But as soon as he was out they didn't let him take his first breath. They sucked his mouth and nose out immediately because breathing it in is extremely dangerous and could be fatal. Waiting for them to let him take his first breath was the most terrifying moment of my entire labor. I can't imagine what would have happened if he had done it earlier. I might not have my son. And I didn't take castor oil. I can't imagine even taking the tiniest bit of castor oil. If something happened I would never be able to live with myself. It's not worth the risk. I hope the best for your baby but please don't do it again. And watch out for green in your discharge. That's how they knew it had happened with my son. My water had a very slight green color and they tested it. Castor oils a big no no In my book.
First off if they was refusing to let u go past 41 week they would induce u their self's 2nd do u think going 41 weeks is more dangerous then u drinking some "brew juice" I went to 42 weeks w my son it was uncomfortable as hell i couldn't sleep hip was dislocated and i still waited because i also lost a son at 19 weeks and refuse to do anything to risk burying another child.
I was induced. It was quick and easy. Definitely a safer option then caster oil.
So I'm just wondering if it doesn't work can it still cause problems? If your doctor said it was okay how do they monitor the baby? Mine said anything except for castor oil and nipple stimulation, I previously had a C-sections. Maybe more than one doctor's opinion?? I hope you and baby stay healthy mama.
Why won’t they “let” you go over 41w? Are there medical reasons? No one can be forced in to a medical procedure & you can decline an induction.
I can understand that your ready and it’s probably past due date or whatever. But Iv read things on here about getting baby to come out on your own and what I hear is just not good. I wouldn’t use that castor oil at all tho. Try bouncing on a ball or something but let baby cook as long baby needs
I can understand how stressful, painful, and uncomfortable the end of pregnancy is. I know first hand how just that one extra day seems like eternity especially when you are so anxious to meet your baby and just over being pregnant In general. I was a week past due with my son and it was awful. Did I bounce on a ball? Yeah. Did I have sex to try an speed it up AFTER 40 weeks? Yes. Did I walk a lot and eat spicy foods? Yes. Did he come on his own? No. Because he wasn’t ready. I waited until my doctor said “okay were inducing you” because she’s a trusted professional. I couldn’t risk my babies life no matter how small the statistics are. They are just statistics and every human body and it’s reactions are different from another. Castor oil can be extremely dangerous especially if your baby isn’t ready to come. It’s not up to us when they do want to come... I can’t see a doctor agreeing to castor oil knowing how many lives have been lost due to it. Not only harmful to your baby but to you as well. A lady on here lost her baby due to it even taking in the smallest amount and the baby ended up having a bowel movement inside and inhaled it and developed a fatal infection. I’d hate to see anything happen to you or your little babe. Please just let her come when she’s ready.
For real, the brew? Where did you hear of this brew?
Just curious, did you get the information to do this on Dr Google or do you have medical books you can site for us?
@jaixi induction was such an easy & quick experience for me. Why do u think the Brew is safer or better than just being induced? Your under medical care when induced & doctors can intervene if your baby was in harm. With this Brew u speak of, the baby won't be monitored to know if it's in danger or not. Why risk ur baby dying when you could just wait until next Wednesday & be safe?
@jaixi, why can’t they let you go past 41weeks. My doctors weren’t going to induce me till I hit 42 weeks. With inducing you run a higher risk of a c-section oppose to a natural birth so they try to hold off as long as possible. I just wouldn’t try castor oil honestly. Just because the risk. Do the walking and the ball. Don’t try anything dangerous. I feel your pain I’ve been there. Once she’s here all the pain will be worth it trust me.
@jaixi, why would you need consent to drink red raspberry leaf tea? It tones your uterus it has nothing to do with inducing. If you researched you would have known that.
I saw this but I just had to scroll down if not I might say something bad. 🤐
@evildrporkchop. I'm not trying to get banned if someone doesn't care about the risks for their unborn. 🤷🏻♀️
It could have had PFM in it and I still wouldn’t have risked my child’s life to try to induce. 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
@jaixi oh I just never heard of that before hahaha
@mama_bearof2, lol no problem
it’s called the midwives brew.
Some ppl have a negative outlook on it. Because it contains castor oil.
I had the same fear but I did a lot of research and find that those specific ingredients makes it so that the affects of the castor oil are drastic. Also the amount is very small.2 tablespoons. Most people that take castor oil alone for inducing take 2oz or more .
@jaixi make the affects of castor oil less drastic you mean? Either way, I wouldn't have taken the risk, momma! How's it going so far?
Almond butter
Lemon verbena tea
Apricot nectar
Castor oil
@jaixi, don’t do castor oil. I get it you’re over due. I was 8 days over due with my second and as miserable as I was I did not try and induce labor. I started labor naturally and did not have to be induced. Research castor oil and read all the horror stories.
Good morning ladies. Sorry I been ignoring yall but I have been so miserable the past days I'M STILL PREGNANT my contractions would be strong for hours and it looked like I was gonna have a baby then everything just stopped so I got sent home. they said I have to wait till my appointment Wednesday so I can talk to my doctor about the next step. I HATE THIS 😢😢😩
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Hey ladies, so I wanted to say my curls finally came back and I figured out how to style it! Lol thank you to everyone who suggested natural products or my hair would still look the way it did a couple months ago! ??
My baby is still making smacking noises so I know he's still hungry. but I need a break my boobs hurt so bad
Okay so according to other moms on my Facebook list, the 4moms baby infant tub isn’t all that 😒😒 I still want a nice tub though so I guess my search continues.
