- Hello Ladies. This Question Is For Those Who Have 2 kids Already. Anyways How Would You Put Their Carseats ? I have a SUV Chevy Trailblazer ... Should I put The newborn in the middle ? Or on the Side or Leave my toddlers car seat in the Middle and put newborn on the side? HELP PLEASE!
@marialovey7 no problem. I always sit in the back until they're at least six months old. Seeing my toddler around the newborn I'd never trust them alone in the back. She's loving one minute and the next she's trying to share her Dolly and all but poking the baby. They don't realize they're too rough yet so it's best to keep them apart 😊
- yes I won't be able to supervise them since I'll be the one driving 95% of the time . So your right I gotta keep them apart especially since my son is a bit crazy as of likes to throw stuff.. thank you @vvrobinson
I have my toddler behind the drivers side. Newborn in the middle and I sit behind the passenger seat. I can reach both of them and the girls can reach to touch each other. However if you won't be in the back to supervise I strongly suggest keep the middle open so theyre apart. Toddlers are unpredictable and you don't want them poking the baby with a toy or hurting them in any way while you're driving. Toddlers and tantrums should stay far far away from newborns
You are supposed to put the least protected one in the middle. That would be whoever is forward facing
I have a big truck but my oldest's carseat was really bulky and I couldn't put the other seat in without it looking tilted so I put them on opposite sides.
- thanks ladies why didn't I think of putting them both on the sides 😂 wow Pregnancy brain at it's finest . I think I will do that just put both on the side and it will be so much easier to get them out too. Wow thanks again Ladies ! 😊 @2sweetie @yamip91
i put baby on the side cause it has the hooks for the base and easier to get babu out and my the daughter will sit in the middle or by door with her booster
Mine were on each side.
I think it depends on the car and the carseat and if the manual allows you to put them side by side.. but I do know carseats should not be touching each other or the driver/passanger seats
Mine both went on the sides.
