So we decided on a rabbit. A friend breeds them and is actually giving him to us for free! He's about 11 weeks old. Going to pick him up next month 🤗
*Not sure what my 12 year old is going to name him yet. Stay tuned.

Oh my goodness! Sooooo cute! I love lops! 😍❤️
@angelfoodcake, Yes we moved out of our 5 bedroom house (we own) to go live in a 2 bedroom cabin on 5 acres so that we could start a Homestead. Next year we are starting construction on building a 4 bedroom house on the land.
@angelfoodcake, I love lamb it’s like steak kinda, but it’s expensive. I always get lamb in my hibachi grill stir fry 😂 my Greek friend makes amazing roasted lamb though
@knockout So are y'all on a farm? I really want to live on small farm/ arches
@knockout oh no! I think I ate that maybe once, wow. Smh
@knockout sheep, I never knew poeple ate sheep... Wait is that lamb chop?
@angelfoodcake, My husband wanted to but I can’t do it lol. We decided next year we are going to try raising sheep & pigs for meat. I’ll keep my goats for milk.
@knockout okay gotcha just asking I've had curry goat before
@angelfoodcake, No I don’t eat my goats lol just milk them for soaps and cheese
@angelfoodcake, hay or bedding is optional for the litter box I use a combination of both. If the wood chips are pine or cedar it isn’t safe for bunnies and can cause them to have liver and respiratory issues if they’re exposed to it for long periods of time but if that’s the only option you have then you’d have to put a layer of hay over top of the wood chips to limit their exposure
@knockout Do you the goat?
@angelfoodcake, Yep! It’s the Homestead life lol. We have rabbits, chickens, & ducks for meat. We also raise goats for milk. I’m getting my first Jersey cow sometime after the baby is born.
@knockout oh no yal eat em?
@xavmia315 so hay or bedding is optional for the litter box/area? Also I read somewhere you could use wood chips in litter box...?
I have fleece in my bunnies cages they mostly like to lay down on it or try to dig in it. You should also get pellets for him to eat as well as Timothy hay and if you want to give them lettuce romaine lettuce is safe for bunnies, don’t do too many fruits for him because bunnies don’t do well with large amounts of natural sugar. Bunnies do essentially potty train themselves they like to go in the same area which is usually a corner so just watch to see where he uses the bathroom and put the litter box there with hay in it.
@isabellesmom93 We have a XL dog cage with a tray at the bottom. So you have a designated areas for the hay? Or is it throughout the pen? Can you provide pictures?
For mine I just use hay, they eat it and I put it in the litter box so I don’t have to buy bedding, they made a huge mess of the bedding so hay was much easier. They basically potty train themselves, I bought a small dog pen so mine don’t have an actual cage so I’m not sure if you should line it with soft fabric.
@isabellesmom93 @xavmia315 @mommysupreme
Okay, so I need to get bedding, and hay to lay throughout the cage or do I just put the hay in the feeding bowl daily? Should I line the cage with a soft fabric? I really want to potty train
Aww too cute! I just got 2 bunnies last month and my 1 year old is obsessed there good pets
Aww he’s so cute 💕 I have 3 bunnies but I definitely wish I could have gotten that breed
@angelfoodcake, she has Timothy hay which is the green hay in the picture , that’s what she eats . And the stuff that looks like pencil shavings is the bedding which she uses the bathroom on
@mommysupreme So the hay they eat and poop on?
@angelfoodcake, she uses the bathroom on one side of her cage . The other side she like burrows herself under her bedding lol
@mommysupreme Is she potty trained?
@mommysupreme, your rabbits so cute, laying on her belly! 💕
I don't know why but the name mr. Mcfluffer pants came to mind for a name 😀
Not mom related at all but mom dog related! We have a 6 month old beagle and we are having issues with him going potty in his crate! We have been letting him out every hour and he won't go but moment we put him back like 5 minutes he goes! Any suggestions? Bad enough I have a 15 month old now and 6 month old puppy that is doing this! He's a good puppy besides this! And he won't go in the house at all but happily go in his crate! I don't get it!
How old?
How old were you when you lost your virginity?
