my friend has always been a good friend but when it comes to my daughter shes so judgy & makes me feel bad. today i was telling her how ive been trying to show my daughter to clap & she doesnt seem interested about it & she responded “what the hell she doesnt know how to clap?!!! its cus u need to show u, u need to sit down with her & show her with ur hands what clapping is” like okay of course i do that. she makes it seem like i dont do anything for her.

@babeylarissa you expressed yourself to her the best way you could and exactly how you felt. Sometimes the truth offends ppl so just be patient and give her some time to respond. A good friend would take in what was said and say I hear you girl my bad I'll work on it and i truly didn't mean to hurt your feelings. If she's not shell be upset and petty with her response(which you'll be the bigger person about) or actually not even respond. So whatever happens it was for your good k.😉

@babeylarissa nope she shpuld see how she is or maybe didn't think you would call her out on her one uping but if she wants to be condescending then you're better off without her as a "friend"

@babeylarissa I think you said it really nice. If she has an issue with it screw her. She's not a friend then.

Every child is different and learns differently! My son is 20 months and by 7 months he was clapping and waving bye but by 10 months he stopped doing it. By 1 year he was saying momma, dadda, it, hi, but, but now only says momma and it. By 1 year he took his first steps but didn't actually start walking tell he was 16 months. Every child learns differently. My sister in law always tries to compare my kids with hers it drives me nuts

I agree with @makaylas_mommy102415 every child is different so there's no need for any negativity when the goal is about being supportive, doing the best you can and the joys of motherhood.

@babeylarissa Shes being petty, like what is the point to bring that up the whole "Oh well my kid can do this" I can't stand the one uping. If she was a real friend she would just simply supoort you and let you know you're doing a hreat job no matter what

that doesn't sound like a friend at all. I'd tell her peace ✌🏻
