Baby wash and baby oil? right new we are using aveeno naturals, but i still want something that is MORE natural. the ingredients list on her baby wash is ridiculous.
We haven't had a problem with it affecting his eyes, but I don't put it straight in the bath. I let him play around in just bath water and then at the end I was him body and hair with it, rinse it off, and we're done. So it never gets in his eyes. We don't use any baby oil or lotion unless his skin is really dry. Then I typically use coconut oil or CJs butter on super dry spots like eczema that are anywhere on his body.
Dr. bronners was the first I looked at. But I'm worried about it irritating her eyes. Do u have any problems with that?
Also, do you have a baby oil you recommend? Aleeyah has a rash spot on the back of her neck. Idk what else to call it. The derm. Said its not eczema. But I put baby oil on it in the bath and the use prescription cream when I get her out of the bath. So far its the only thing that keeps at at bay. But the only baby oil at walmart is J&J.
Thanks @Texas I'll look onto that.
Burt's Bees has "fragrance" in it. And I've read a lot of review that their "fragrance free" one has caused a lot of eczema flair ups.
Totally understand about the tear-free. I think we've lucked out that DS doesn't rub his eyes in the bath much. Have you looked at the Burt's Bees baby washes? They have a couple different ones, at least one of them is tear-free.
I can understand your desire to avoid scents, especially with sensitive skin! I try to look at the source of the scent in making my decision about that - if it's clearly from an essential oil or extract, I generally don't worry about it. Of course, I know essential oils can be irritating to some as well. I avoid the "parfum" and "fragrance" items like the plague, because that can mean ANYTHING.
Shea Moisture - Organic Raw Shea, Chamomile & Argan Oil. The name is a mouthful but I swear by it and love it. They have a wash and lotion. It's naturally scented so not too strong or fake smelling. It's tear free (I tried it on myself). It cleared up my sons eczema in a few days, and I even use the lotion on my stretch marks.
I get it at Target and I've seen it at Walgreens too.
and idk know about it not being tear free... dd constantly is rubbing her eyes with soap on her hands at bath time.
but i don't really know if her soap she has now is..
thanks tho! :)
see ive seen that and a couple other brands, but i really don't want anything with scents.
I love Earth Mama Angel Baby's foaming baby wash. It smells like oranges and vanilla, and lasts a long time. The only thing to be aware of is that it isn't tear free, but because it comes out as a foam, we've found it's pretty easy to keep out of his eyes. They make a baby oil too, but we haven't tried that.
what baby wash and baby lotion does everyone use
Anyone deliver their FIRST baby naturally? With no epidural?

Can't wait to wash my baby girl's clothes etc tomorrow!😍
I bought Dreft. Is dreft good!?

No this is not my baby... But this little sucker was 14.1 lbs.... and she delivered naturally.... #BRUH
We use Canus Brand Goat's Milk Soap. It's the same stuff I use. When Lily was an infant she had these bumps all over her belly- that her pediatrician thought was 'no big deal.' I had started using Goat's Milk Soap when I was pregnant and had crazy dry skin. I switched Lily over and the bumps were gone in 3 days. It's a bar soap. It doesn't seem to bother her eyes at all.
