Anyone deliver their FIRST baby naturally? With no epidural?
@annabellemaesmommy, o I was in pain but I dealt with it cause I didn't have really much choice because I didn't have time for an epidural
you are welcome! your body can do amazing things don't doubt yourself...... and it's OK if you try and can't you are still strong and the end result is the same no matter how the baby is birthed :) good luck momma!
@momma11161407, wow thats amazing, congratulations! I have a lot more hope now :) thank you so much for the website too!
ссылка @annabellemaesmommy pressure point guide hope it helps
yes I had pitocin with 3 out of the 4 no pain meds ......being induced the contractions where much worse and I was in labor longer when I went natural I was already at 5 at my doctors appointment earlier that day but didn't feel any contractions till my water broke I was at a 9 when I have my baby boy the whole natural labor lasted 2 hours the inductions where all at least 5. @annabellemaesmommy
@momma11161407, but even though you were induced you still didnt get the epidural? Bc I hear the contractions are so much worse. But i really want to labor at home for as long as i can bc i want to have my bath tub lol
@annabellemaesmommy, I was induced with my first 2 natural with my third my 4th was induced hoping to go natural with this one also i hate being induced rather labor at home
@their.bomb.ass.mom, I'm doing it either way, i just want it to go as smoothly as it can im praying on it lol
@tristennicole, you weren't in any pain? Omg I can't imagine that makes me nervous of having my baby in the bathtub lol!
No problem, I probably could have done it naturally, but it was hard to focus on what I needed to do with the contractions coming non-stop. I wasn't completely numb, because by the time I started pushing it was wearing off. But I know plenty of women that did it naturally with their first! So it isn't impossible. 😊😊
nope I labored at home witch I had no clue I was doing lol my doc thinks I was laboring all night on Thursday and then the doc broke my water when I got there Friday morning
@tristennicole, did you labor at home for most of the time? Or did your water break & you went in?
I delivered natural about a week ago not because I chose to but because I was already a 10 when I got to the hospital .. I pushed for about an hour maybe a little more .. and I just handled the pain by breathing and screaming of course lol I really don't know how I did it either but crazy things happen when your pregnant .. good luck let your body do it's thing
@their.bomb.ass.mom, oh okay, just curious. Thanks for the insight!
@momma11161407, I haven't taken any birthing classes :/ I have been learning breathing techniques on youtube lol. But wow, were you induced or went into labor on your own?
No, I went into labor on my own, and I pretty much planned all along to get the epidural. They did end up giving me some pitocin to speed up
labor because I wasn't going as quick as they wanted me to, and before they broke my water they gave me my epidural, and it went by super fast after that.
@their.bomb.ass.mom, why did you end up getting the epidural (if you did)? I'm just curious, trying to get all the info i can to help when the time comes. Also, were you induced?
nothing seemed to lesson the pain. you just have to breath and get the baby out
@aek91, geez. I'm trying to prepare myself bc i want to do it so badlyyy
from my first contraction until when I held him was 7hrs. I pushed for an hour and that was the hardest part for me because I was drained of energy. the contractions were painful but I think I could do it again. the part that I hated was the ring of fire and when I tore and got stitched. my body didn't have an ounce of pain relief and I regret not being able to enjoy holding my son for the first time because I was in so much pain down there and soo tired. this time I'm getting an epidural because I really want that expierance. I'm pretty tough with pain and it's do able..but also horrible.
6 1/2 hours my SO and I took birthing classes they taught pressure points we used those with all my births this being my 5th I swear by them I also had back labor so I was on a yoga ball and used heating pads
While I didn't deliver naturally, but before I got the epidural I breathed in and out loudly, if that makes sense, and closed my eyes and was very still. It helped a lot with the pain, for whatever reason. If I would have thought of it, I would have brought headphones and played music! That might have helped more.
I was in labor for 14 hours & I pushed for 1 & a half hours. I honestly dont know how I did it
@momma11161407, @aek91 how long were yall in labor & what got you through the pain?
@jamielynn07, how long were you in labor? & how did you bare the pain?
@tristennicole, I told my doctor not even to offer the epidural. So I won't have that option
