So last Wednesday I got my first positive opk, Friday I went in for blood work to make sure I actually ovulated. Progesterone was supposed to be at l sat a 3 to indicate I did indeed O. Got a call back yesterday that it was a 7.5 so I did ovulate 😍 yay! They also tested my thyroid and that looked great as well.
Yesterday my husband submitted his semen analysis so hopefully by the end of the week we will know more 😊 Mon 6/25 I have an ultrasound scheduled to check things out too so I’m assuming I’ll be able to start meds my next cycle (If I didn’t conceive this one). I’m feeling very relieved to finally start tests in order to get a plan going.

Hopefully it is just a blockage that can be corrected with surgery!

Update: just got a call back about his semen analysis. We are being referred to the University Hospital and Clinics. His count was ZERO. They are going to test for blockages.

After further investigation we are kind of thinking it’s varicoceles. His mom said her cousin has the same symptoms and that’s what it was. we were told you can typically feel them, and he felt and said it felt just like they said. So crossing my fingers that’s what it is because it’s supposed to be an out patient surgery and then “all good”. 🤞🏻🤞🏻
