Belly Bands

Do they help with upper back pain? I'm having the worst pain anytime I sit for more than a few minutes and laying down is the only thing that helps. Tylenol does nothing.

@carissa that's exactly how it feels for me. It's on the left right where my ribs meet my left breast and I spent the whole afternoon crying. I hate having to take Tylenol but I just had to. I'm sorry you had to go through the pain too. ☹️

@crystal i had it with my son also. I get it only on my right side. The pain starts in the front/side of ribs & goes all the way into the back in my ribs. Sometimes it gets to thebpoint that it feels as though someone is really pulling them apart. Overall the kt tape has been helping. With my son i would hide at work a lot & cry on pain. I spent most of my time icing my ribs when i didn't work. Thankfully i didn't have kids yet. Thats why kt tape is my savior this time around lol

I had that same rib pain last time. It lasted about 6 weeks. Totally forgot about it until you mentioned it. Haven't gotten it this time, but I have been seeing a chiro regularly since 6 months before I got pregnant. I didn't have any adjustments with my first pregnancy.

@carissa I need to read up on rib separation. Of course I will tell my Dr at my next appt but I've had an annoying/nagging pain in my ribs, especially right under my left breast and on both sides of my back. I wonder if that may be what it is?

I have one like #4 helps quite a bit along with the use of kt tape for my rib separation. That mainly what i use mine for.

Thank you so much for posting that link! I have a feeling I will really be needing one of those if I want to continue working as long as possible.

I have a feeling I'll be seeing a chiropractor soon. I'm able to put my feet up at work when needed but working as a caregiver for a man who's not able to get around on his own still causes me to have aches and pains. I just hope I'll be able to work another month at least. The family I work for is getting concerned with it being too much for me but they're allowing me to continue as long as my Dr says it's ok.

My chiropractor helped me with finding a good way to tape with K. T. Tape. Plus i go see her every week to make sure my hips and neck are adjusted correctly. But the K.T. tape helps so much especially if I'm going to be on my feet all day.

@helloxkitty The one I have is from Neo Tech Care and it comes with a band for the belly and an extra support band for the back. I'm not sure how much it costs because it was a gift from my SIL

@sociatal do you have a brand recommendation?

Mine helps with lower back but not too too much with the upper. I love it though because without it I can only be up and moving for 20 mins before the strain from these twins makes moving around hurt.

Following, wondering the same thing but for lower back pain.
