Leg Pain ?
I'm 11weeks 1day and I've had a throbbing pain in my left calf muscle for the past few days. I've tried stretching and elevating my feet but it's not helping. Anyone experiencing this and have suggestions?

I had ultrasounds done to check for clots in both legs and my Dr is supposed to call with results. I'm assuming everything is ok since I haven't heard back from her. She examined me in her office before sending me downstairs (in hospital) for ultrasound and said it's good that my leg isn't swollen. I'm assuming the hospital wouldn't have let me go home had they found anything significant.
Me too! It was funny because the Doppler picked up the heart beat for a couple seconds, then stopped. She moved it a little further to the right, picked it up again then it stopped. She started laughing and said "this baby is really moving in there!"
Apparently baby wanted to play hide and seek ?
Will do. We listened to baby's heartbeat so that was comforting. Taking the rest of the week off to relax.
My OB's office is in the hospital, so she had me go see her. She took urine then sent me to have ultrasounds done on both my legs and will call me once she gets all the results.

I have to call my OB today anyway so I'm going to bring it up. There's no redness or swelling. I have never been checked for the clotting disorders but I did tell my OB about them when we discussed my family history. My grandpa, aunt and 1st cousin have them. My dad also died of a massive heart attack in his 40's.
That's what worries me. History of clotting disorders on my dad's side. Thanks for your response girl. I'll let my OB know.

I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...

My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?

I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
Actually last week I ate a banana each day. I was slicing them for my cheerios lol. I think I've been working too hard. I'm a caregiver for an elderly man and have to help him in and out of wheelchair/to toilet etc and he weighs over 200lbs. I've spent the past 2 days in bed and the pain has gotten better.
