Co sleeping help

I still Co sleep with my 21 month old and I'm pregnant with twins. When they r born my son will be almost 2. I want him out of my bed and in his own room because he sleeps threw the night and having twins waking him up won't be good. I'm not sure what's the best way to get him out. Everyone say just let him cry and he will get use to it but that's not an option. I won't be Co sleeping with the twins because there isn't any room for 2 babies. And I don't like Co sleeping till 5 months or so. But they will be in my room.

I moved our 2 year old to his own bed when I got pregnant but it's still in our room. I started by letting him fall asleep in our bed and moving him. Once he was used to waking up in his bed, I started putting him down awake in his bed. For the first few weeks I had to stay by him for an hour, now it's about 15 minutes. It took a few months but no tears and some nights he still sleeps with us but they are few and usually when he doesn't feel well he'll ask to sleep with us. We don't say no when he asks.

Have you tried moving him out before? We have a queen that I put lo to sleep in another room. Oh usually goes to her the first time she wakes up and then I go in after that. He goes back to our bed. Good luck!

I moved my dd at 14 months into her own room. It was a gradual change. It took about a month for her to be sleeping by herself most of the night. If he's sttn, I don't think it will be too hard for you to change. We have a queen mattress on the floor (for both kids now) and it worked well bc I can still lay with her if needed or just to snuggle and read books.

We have a full but what you said sounds perfect. Cuddle or read until they fall asleep and then go to your own bed.

Julian sttn half the week and the other half he'll wake around 3 and come in our bed or one of us will go in his.

Scout went from sleeping with us most of her life to sleeping in her room. And now if my dh tries to get her to sleep with us she says "sleep in my bed". I can't really remember but I think I started the transition right before she was 2 and a few months before the baby was born.

At first she was still nursing to sleep so I would just nurse her to sleep and then go back to my bed. When she would wake up I would just nurse her back to sleep and then go back to my room. If she kept waking every time I snuck away I would just take her back to my bed.

Then we night weaned and so I would sit beside her bed and read her stories in the dark with a flashlight till she fell asleep. She also has a moon that we turn on and a dream light. And if she woke up during the night I would just go in and sit with her or read till she fell back asleep.

When the baby first arrived I would still take her back to her room in the middle of the night if she woke up. But now if she wakes up its usually after 3 am and she just walks into our room and climbs into bed and falls asleep. But thankfully lately she has been staying in her room all night about 4 days a week. At first I was worried about the baby waking her if he started to cry while she was in here but her and dh don't seemed disturbed by the crying at all:)

Also maybe doing something that will get him excited about his own bed like picking out bedding with something he loves on it. Also my dd loves her flashlight and falls asleep holding it every night. I think it's something she looks forward too. I think that as long as you are with him while he falls asleep he will transition just fine especially since he's sleeping all night.

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

@itsamemario, you deleted your post before I could hit send but this is my comment: I don’t know if this answers your question but this is my answer. My son is 7 and he knows race and color. Why? Because he himself comes from a family that is multi racial and because he has already experienced racism. I also believe as his mother it’s my job to teach him color and the cold hard truth about society. He knows what’s going on in this world. I’d be hurting him if I allowed him to blindly walk outside without this information. Children of color are being targeted and killed too. It’s not just adults. I let my son know we treat everyone equally and with respect. I let him know that we love everyone for their differences. In every aspect. Color, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual preference we love everyone.

Who else has financial issues within their relationship?? Or am I just lucky 🙄🙄 Not sure if I'm being just mean or what. But my SO used $160 from me this morning. I gave him my bank card because he needed $60 to get material for work. His boss was going to give it back to him at the end of the day. So instead of $60 he took out $160. Which I was a little pissed. (One of the reasons I just can't let him use my card. I have to go get the money from the atm myself if I'm giving it to him) then, tonight he asked for $20 incase his boss didn't give it to him. So I gave him my card not even thinking because I had kids running around me. I asked if he could pick up a few things that were out of and told him he could use my card if he has too. And I even told him not to get the expensive brands or anything m generic is fine. So he does. But when he does he decides to go Easter shopping for the kids. (Not sure if he used to my card or not) but if he did, I'd be even more pissed. He knows I have bills to pay on top of giving my son's school money that I owe them. He goes to a private school and I haven't paid in 5 months. It's towards the end of school now so I need to pay it. He knows this month I am extremely tight because of the school, im already in debt and my credit score sucks. I have been trying not to get in more debt and actually fix my credit. I'm so frustrated. It's like we have different priorities and different ideas on this. I feel like I'm completely drowning!!
