I love mine and dd is 19 months. I can still wear it for brief periods at 6.5 months pregnant.

I hip carry my now 14 month old sometimes. It took me some practice to get it on right. It take more moving stuff than the front or back. He will go on my back, but he's not a fan. He likes to be able to see my face, so the hip is nice when I am tired of him on the front.

I only hip carry my 27 lb, 16 mo and have for a couple of months. He won't tolerate front or back carry long enough to even bother. This kid wants to see what's happening!

Im planning on using it on him till I get pregnant again which I hope is soon. And then ill wear it on the baby. I was looking at that tula and it looks very nice but I don't have the money to spend on that. And I bought my ergo for 80 and that was not in budget but my husband said ok so I got it.

I ended up upgrading to the tula toddle because the ergo wasn't going up high enough on my lo, so I was having to support her more and more and we were headed out on vacation. I am so glad I did. The waist strap is much more padded and comfortable and it goes up 8" higher than my ergo. So for any of you planning on baby wearing for years to come, I highly recommend it.

My son is 18 pounds and hes 14 months so hes pretty small. So hes got a lot of time in it

How small are your LO's?? I know it says until 3 yrs but once

It doesnt hit both backsides of knees then its not really ergonomical anymore.

I was also looking into the Tula Toddler or the R&R because my LO is huge & about to not fit great in the carrier anymore.

I've tried the side carry but it's annoying. We mostly do the back carry now at 2. Between 1 and 2 we switched back and front a lot.

20m tomorrow and we still use ours. Been reading about the Tula toddler carrier though...

It says it can be used on the side has anyone used it like that?

I love our ergo! We didn't get it until my dd was almost a year old and I wish I had gotten it sooner. It's the only way I get laundry done these days, lol. She's 19 months and I can wear her in the front or on my back depending on what we're doing.

We walked around target with it for 45 minutes and loved it. So much easier then him being in the cart or him walking around and messing with everything. But my sister said it's going to make him more attached to me but that's kinda the point.

I didn't get my ergo until my son was around 10 months old (he's now 21 months old) and if I weren't pregnant and he didn't weigh 31-32 lbs we would still be using it! I'm super excited to use it from infancy this time around!
