What are some of your mom/life tricks and tips?
I used an insulated lunch bag to store lo's bottles for the night. They stay cool and then I just pop them in the bottle warmer while I change his diaper... No need to make one in the middle of the night or go downstairs to the fridge...
Baking soda for vomit. Kid vomits in middle of night? Toss some on. It causes it to clump and removes the smell almost instantly. Shake off the sheet and wash.
I think mine is pretty much the opposite of all these. I like to leave the house with the least amount of stuff to carry as possible. For a newborn I grab 2 diapers, wipes, and nursing cover. For my 2 toddler it's 2 diapers, wipes, and his lunch box of snacks. I've never been big on carrying around multiple changes of clothes and all that other diaper bag crap. There's no reason I need to pull out a pair of baby nail clippers if I'm at the grocery store. I've never really understood it. The more you pack, the more you have to carry!

@deborahq I'm with you on that!
I made a complete toy kitchen set out of jumbo diaper boxes ... I'm talking fridge, stove, sink shelves. My kid loved it.

Blue dawn dish soap with get almost any stain out!
Someone suggests Lotrimin for a yeast rash? Buy athletes foot cream instead. Same thing, but doesn't cost a ton. Also, treat rash with equal parts water and white vinegar mixture, allow to dry, apply cream.
Buy a Kiinde.
Accept the hand-me-downs, and buy consignment. They grow out of it so fast, and it just gets covered in poop anyway.
Speaking of covered in poop, if you forget a change of clothes for yourself, take a baby wipe to that blowout and continue on with your day. Chances are you already stink anyway. Blame the baby.
Don't over-share your kids on social media unless your profile is locked down.
Have courage to breastfeed in public. With or without a cover. It's natural, so why not do it? Plus, it encourages other moms who are too afraid.
And seriously, don't let your kids play with the blinds. I get that it was probably just a humorous example of a real tip, but it's not funny. Trigger

Waterproof liner on your bed as well ... Toddlers like to come snuggle in the night/ early morning ... Protect your mattress too!
Commenting and following for more tips... Mine has to be keep extra clothes In the car you never know when baby may have a blowout. Learned from experience. Lol
-Keep gallon size ziplock bags in your car-they're great for throwing soiled clothes, etc. in and keep the smell to a minimum until you get home.
-Keep extra receiving blankets in the car and the diaper bag. They make great covers for changing tables (and then just toss them in your ziplock to be washed)
-baby wipes will take small scuffs and dirt off of shoes.
I stole this one from a buzzfeed article, but I put a command hook on the back of the high chair to hold bibs.
I keep a basket of toys in every room of the house.
High chairs are your best friend while trying to make dinner.
Keep extra diapers and a pack of wipes in the car. You just never know when you might need them.
Thirty-One bags make awesome diaper bags.
An extra bag in the trunk of then car filled with extra baby necessities for emergencies only (diapers, wipes, clothes, pacifier, blanket, jacket, swim diaper, etc)
I like a cross body diaper bag
I boil and pour the ready water into the bottles for all feelings. I can literally make a bottle with my eyes closed OR while I'm holding LO.
Love the backpack diaper bag idea, omg why isn't this a bigger thing? Genius!
For the newborn stage, I had a small basket that I took with me into whatever room I was in with baby. It had my nipple shield, coconut oil, Chapstick, water bottle, phone charger and a book.
At bedtime, it sat on my bedside table. During the day, it moved to the living room, etc.
My favorite tip/trick is for formula babies.
Make midnight feedings (any feeding really) a breeze by filling all bottles with water and have one formula dispenser for each bottle with the amount of formula needed for each bottle. It's great for getting the diaper bag ready as well! I prefered the single serve formula dispensers but the 3 serving containers work just as well.
? I'm definitely gonna have to steal that spray bottle of rubbing alcohol idea. Genius!
I have a small basket of toys in Evert room of the house.
I also keep a bag of toy in the car for long rides as well as an extra change of clothes, diapers n wipes.
I too gave up on my expensive ($200) diaper bag for a backpack.
I clean up when baby is asleep. Same goes for laundry.
I keep a small travel size spray bottle of rubbing alcohol. This is to spray down the table (anything within the baby radius), high chairs n also shopping carts.
Hand sanitizer and Kleenex tissues in your purse/diaper bag because you never know!
Pick and choose your battles. Really just do it.
Kid is playing with the blinds? Kid will scream if you make them stop? The kid shall continue.

crying babies/toddlers usually stop crying if you walk outside with them for a few minutes. (tantrum/overtired type of crying)
white noise machines/apps are magic
buy back ups of favorite blanket/lovey, stash them around for convenience, car, bed, grandmas house, etc
