Oh my goodness. I am in absolute shock! We have been TTC for a while but took this month off because I needed to de-stress and we went on a snowboarding trip this weekend. We literally just walked in the door 5 minutes ago and I decided to test because my boobs are really sore today.

He was scrolling through the pictures, saw it and said "what's that? You're pregnant?"
I said "yes!!!"
He replied: "well good for you."
I then started balling my eyes out and he hugged me and said he was sorry like 5 million times. Doesn't matter though, I can't erase that terrible memory. :-(
When we ttc again , I'm getting dd a shirt that says big sister and letting her wear it around until everyone notices! Lol
I haven't told him yet, we were late getting the kids to bed and now my 7 year old is having a "oh woe is me" moment because he has to g back to school tomorrow. :-) I can't take the suspense anymore!! Haha! I need to tell him ASAP!
Do you have any kids already? Put them in a big brother/sister shirt and wait for him to notice
I took this same picture and wrote "Congrats Daddy! I love you" on it. Can't wait!! Only about 2 more hours. :-)

I think your idea with the pictures was cute. I would also print out your pics from today and put them in a scrapbook along with a letter to your new lo. Congrats!
I plan on using cookie cutters with play dog and writing it out. I'm going to put the letters on a cookie sheet and put it in the oven. When he comes home from work I'll act busy and ask him to take the pan I had cooling out of the oven. He will see what it says then obviously. I figured with playdoh it includes my dd because we can play while I'm making the letters. Lol
Oh my gosh! I just thought of the best idea! I took some pictures and video this morning of him and my DS snowboarding. After we put the kids to bed, I'll hand him my phone and say "want to look at some of the videos and pictures from today" and let him scroll through the photos until he sees my BFP!!! :-)

I got mine a congratulations on being pregnant card and put the test in a blue gift bag with pink tissue paper. The test was in a baggy of course. He loved the gift. We still have the card and test. With my last, I surprised him with a cake that said "baby we're having a baby! " written on it. He was greeted with the cake when he got home from work.

I found an idea on Pinterest that I want to do when we TTC later this year. You attach a note that says "Hi Dad I can't wait to meet you" with your EDD
We have two dogs but since we just came back from vacation, they are still with family.
I'm so nervous!! My DS wasn't planned so we tested together and were both in a shock. With my DD, I sent him a text. Haha! Not too exciting! :-)

Do you have a pet?? Someone in my birth month or TTC taped the test to their dogs collar & it was sooooo cute.
You could always make a cute little shadow box with the some baby items then when he catches on show him the test.
Or you can do like me and be like OMG IM PREGNANT. totally not cute or creative at all lol.
Put a bun in the oven and tell him you have a surprise hidden for him somewhere in the kitchen. Record it!

Short Luteal Phase? I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
@itsamemario, you deleted your post before I could hit send but this is my comment: I don’t know if this answers your question but this is my answer. My son is 7 and he knows race and color. Why? Because he himself comes from a family that is multi racial and because he has already experienced racism. I also believe as his mother it’s my job to teach him color and the cold hard truth about society. He knows what’s going on in this world. I’d be hurting him if I allowed him to blindly walk outside without this information. Children of color are being targeted and killed too. It’s not just adults. I let my son know we treat everyone equally and with respect. I let him know that we love everyone for their differences. In every aspect. Color, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual preference we love everyone.
Is anyone else seeing my faint positives? We had sex on the 23rd and I tested this morning because I have no chill and here we are.

Hi I am into my 15 week now But since last two days am not having good feeling....I just feel something is wrong inside wid d kid...all my symptoms r too less Morning sickness is gone....Metallic taste of my tounge is also less....and I feel pain in my abdoman twice or thrice which is very minor though What should i do i am very confused Already have gone through 5 scans because of changing gynec Just feel that untill i hear the heartbeat or see my kid i wont b ok....got sleepless nights

I think he feels really bad about it! He has been super nice today and even asked if he could go to my first appointment with me. :-)
I found a new OB today, one closer to my home. My first appointment is in two weeks and they said they will do a sonogram! Yay!!
