Where do you live?
Not asking for city/state but do you live in the country, suburbs, a big city, etc?
Berkshire, UK. I dislike the weather here, we didn't have much of a summer here last year and the weather really affects my state of motivation.
I love it here because most of my family live here too, most within walking distance. I have awesome friends here, there aren't many busy main roads so it's great for kids. It's very green here, a lovely pretty town. I feel at home here.
I live in a small city. I absolutely HATE it here. It's a dead end town and there is nothing to do here. But if all you're interested in doing is going to bars and strip clubs where all the girls look like they're on crack, then maybe this is the place for you. But otherwise, steer clear.
i live basically no where. cuz the gps thingys say my address is three houses down and mine doesnt exsist. theres a gas station next door to me n Im always ready to just erk the idiot teens n 20 somethings who dont understand that at 6am there r still ppl asleep n blare their horrid music. my neighbors behind the store have accused my uncle of running over their dog which they constantly let loose. my uncle was at home in bed. and i know because he snorea so dang bad friggen pluto could hear him. so they offed our dog. who was basically a stray that we took to. he was way too big to bring inside lol. and the nearest town is 7 miles away and our old neighbors who ran us out of our house in town have started spreading lies about us. but at least we have a place to stay. lol Srry if i sounded rude. i virtually hate living here. oh not to mention that our house is infested with creepies (multi leg demons from hell. we cant say the full name or else they come out like mad) and our land lady is a total spaz who is harassing us to rake the rotting leaves. they firtalize the ground. Srry for typos n such. i would move in with my gramma but she smokea more than a dang burning building does n my psycho cousin lives with her.
I live in a city where many people come visit and when your actually living here you wonder whats the fuss about because their isnt anything really special about it here. Maybe the movie stars? Maybe downtown? i dont know. Where
im at its not quiet nor noisy its pretty okay. Sometimes i bump into people i dont want too even though i try to avoid certain places..what i like is that almost everyone knows eachother and that their are so many places too see around this state..not where i live well atleast to me lol
Suburbs outside of the big city. I like having all the amenities close & having the big city close enough to enjoy when needed...but dislike the traffic at times. Lived more country like for almost a year- and although the scenery was nice, it was almost too quiet & the amenities & shops weren't quite close enough. I've apparently gotten spoiled on being able to just drive a little bit to the nearest store or shop, without traveling too far.
Country... The only two parts I like is the acres we have & the quietness (except hunting season- then it sounds like the projects lol) - schools are AWESOME!!! && WORST part is no public transportation.... Not even taxi's!!! Closest bus stop is about 20miles. We only had McDonald's for the longest, just a few years ago we got a KFC/Taco Bell ... I was overly excited lol. After YEARS of debate, we just got a Walmart too!!! ?? no more driving 30min to town for groceries!!!!
I grew up right outside of DC before moving to the country... I loved the city - hated the traffic, sky rocket rents & gangs.
I live in a pretty huge city , and love the city life and convenience of.having everything so.close. dislike the traffic and how somehow you always run into people you don't want to run into.
my so was from a small country town so it was a big adjustment but now he likes it too , just hates the traffic lol
Me too, PP! We need the country! None are super small, but definitely more rural.
I also hate traffic where I live! It used to take me 2-2.5 hours EACH WAY to commute to and from work. I work from home now, thankfully!
I live in the suburbs outside of a big city. I like how close stores, malls, gas stations, etc are but I am tired of the hustle and bustle of city living. I want land, trees, and mountains and I want my kids growing up not worrying about keeping up with the Jones'.
i live in the country. there is only 500 people in my town (it's technically considered a village). i like it because its safe for the most part (there's only fields around). i hate it because i know everything about everyone. but i did get to live in the city for a year and i absolutely loved it! after my baby is here i plan on moving back :)
Where do you mommies live and how much does it cost to live there preferably a 3 bedroom
So, I'm curious, what city do you live in and how much do you pay for rent? Thinking about moving....
What would you do with $25,000
If you received an extra $25,000. What would you do with it? ?
Country. I LOVE it. It's so quiet and nice. My kids can run and play, and momma doesn't have to worry about anything. The ride their bike on the road and no cars (:
I lived in Miami and I can honestly say ill NEVER go back. The kids agree.
