Dr. Appt.
I have an appt next week with the doctor however I have no insurance as of right now. I will be 12 weeks by than and it would be my first appt. Should I call to reschedule? Will it be pricey with no insurance?
I would call and ask for pricing, sometimes they have discounts or special billing they can do, but usually that's if you go your whole pregnancy uninsured and don't qualify for Medicaid. If you're waiting on Medicaid, then you can save any bills and fax or mail to your states office that would deal with that and they should take care of it for you. If it's totally unaffordable and you're waiting for other insurance to kick in I would probably wait, but that depends on how long the wait would be.
Mindy-yeah that's what I'm waiting on. What did you go in for? I'm going to speak with an educator and an ultrasound...
Jessna what is an honor discount fit cash patient? Thanks I will call today.
Ebony yeah thass what I applied for but I'm waiting to hear back...everythings in.
If you're waiting for Medicaid/ahcccs let them know... show any paper work you've gotten in the mail. They told me my appt would be $150 if my insurance didn't go through. I only had the case number & they just said if it ends up not getting approved then I'll have to pay. My first appt was yesterday & I'm 12 weeks today!
I cant remember if i ask what do they do at ur 4 week female appt??? After having a baby

Should be about 10 weeks today! And I have my first appt with my OB in an hour!

My significant other hasn’t been to one appt. am I crazy for being bothered about it? I’m already depressed I’m having another baby. I didn’t even want anymore. I feel like I don’t have the support I need.
Ladies I called my insurance about breast pump and they said with their insurance in order to get a pump I get a prescription from doctor then I call 3 different numbers to see what my insurance covers but the only thing is I have to wait til baby is born to call and get pump so I want to at least buy a hand pump which do you ladies recommend for hand pump and when I can get a pump from insurance please n thank you 💖💖
UPDATE: I called and they said to still come in and bring in $100 down payment just in case...and that I can talk to a financial aid counselor YAY (:
