Question for you ladies how are you guys getting your breast pump through insurance before baby gets here im 4 weeks…

@ohnstadk my insurance worker just called me and she say she put the forms in the mail and asked me did I have a ideal as to what I wanted told her I had no clue and she say she want me to wait until he born so the warranty Dom expire and they can deliver it right to the hospital when I have him and I can also use a pump from the hospital

My doctor gave me a form to fill out, they forwarded it to a middle company who talks to your insurance for you and let's you pick a pump based on what the insurance will provide... it was super fast

@julisa_ I told her that and she didn't care not one bit I go back to the dr next week and I'ma let them know cause I'm not about to be spending that much on no milk o hell no when I have other kids I have to buy for and shook coming up that will be a lot of money spent coming out of my husband's income and i don't think it's fair ya know and I'm trying to make sure it's all in order before he gets here cause time is ticking now and I'm down to my last week's and they never was like this when I first had my youngest they got you in there the day after u got out the hospital now they changed like wtf and they stopped giving him wic cause he got overweight at 6 months my husband started buying his milk I was like they bugging I'ma call them to hell I need to have everything situated before and by time he comes home thats why I'm bugging out cause it used to be so smooth now it's pure hell like dang didn't we just bring a human in the world and it's a hassle to get milk that he needs

@ambrerumph1440, yeah your wic is buggin my wic is when you schedule your first baby appointment that’s when the next day you can go in or the same day and you tell the hospital and they will give you enough milk for your baby yeah they gonna need to get it together I would of been like yeah that’s not gonna work because what if my baby don’t latch on my boob like some normal baby’s and what if my pump don’t come what if it was you in my shoes hello I thought you guys was supposed to be helping us not turn y’all backs on us

@julisa_ right that's what I'ma have to do cause how the wic work try schedule you two weeks after you're due so i asked the lady what if I have him at 37 weeks like I normally give birth she told me i wont be able to get In and I'll have to buy formula I'm like wtf formula is 25 dollars a can are you kidding me and that's when I was in my head well I plan to pump also so I shouldn't have to buy so much milk

@ambrerumph1440, yeah you should make sure and ask how long it takes to arrive because some be having you wait awhile just make it seem like you going to strictly breastfeed and need it ask questions like what if my baby comes early because it’s a possibility and maybe they will be nice and send you one quick lol

With my insurance the earliest I can get my pump is a week before I give birth and then w.e I give birth

@ambrerumph1440, I had a Medela last time and wasn't too impressed. I got the Spectra this time around because it has amazing reviews. I'd definitely go with the Spectra!

@aengs2 o I didn't know that I seen the spectra s2 in the price range to but don't know if it's good cause I never used a pump before

@ambrerumph1440, Some insurance companies don't cover Aeroflow so that explains why. I'd definitely try Edgepark next.

@rina414 I just called their csr and she said I can get it before he gets here and they will pay up to 178 so I don't know what I'ma choose from I'm looking into them now

Got mine through acelleron after my appointment, they had me fill out a form and they faxed it over.

@ambrerumph1440, I ordered mine through a company called YummyMummy. Very easy to deal with. I ordered it through their website and it arrived in like a week or so. If your insurance company covers them, I’d go with them. ссылка

@sammifrank OK I keep it with me being I'm high risk all but one cause they didn't give me anything with the info on it just showed me I have a third one

Your insurance will give you a list of covered breast pump/dme suppliers. And then you’ll just need to choose one, call and they’ll help you order it or they’ll direct you to their website.

@ambrerumph1440, no ma’am you just go on their website! Type in Edgepark medical and the site comes right up. I got a spectra s2 Hospital grade pump for free through them. I had over 15 pump choices and it was delivered In 3 days 😁

I got mine through Aeroflow last week! I just filled out their online form and they did all the work for me.

I got mine through Edgepark medical! They deal with your insurance company and almost always get you approved
