ladies help
I'm at a loss, my newborn breast feeds perfectly but when I try to feeds her pumped bottle shes constantly choking. I have several different brands all the same thing. Can any of you ladies recommend a bottle that's slow flow? Or have any advice about it

I always liked Avent and Dr. Browns. The Playtex Nursers with the linings are really good too!
They all have slow flow nipples but those were my favorite bottles. You can also take the bottle out of her mouth some to let her swallow what she has in her mouth already, give it back then remove again after a bit.

I use Dr. browns. They appear to be complicated because they have quite a few parts but it's really not hard.

Oh man. I hope you find one that works for you! I know many bottles have difference "flow" sizes. From 1-4. I tried 6 different bottles and was not successful.

We tried the comotomo for the first time today and she seemed to do ok with it despite the fact that I got the medium flow without realizing it ??♀️. I want to try mimijumi but I have to wait to buy it on Monday the store that sells it here is closed tomorrow.

I have tried Dr. Brown, Avent, playtex, parents choice nuk and none help my baby, half the bottle runs down her mouth and she chokes sometimes too, I have yet to find The One. The playtex is the only one that kinda do ok for her. Hope you find the one for yours

Ive been using first years breastflow. They've been working pretty well. Also make sure you're doing paced bottle feeding when you use bottles...that may help some too.

Most bottles should have a slow flow nipple; I always went for the slowest option for ex: avent goes 0, 1m, 3m etc. Also if you don’t already, look up paced feeding and that could definitely help with the choking!

Some brands have preemie nipples.

Thanks ladies! She has a very small mouth, was born a little early, I'll try some of these. Basically just runs out her mouth down her neck. I have looked up paced feeding, we do this already.

I havent tried yet but breastflow is to be like a natural nipple. They have to compress and suck to get milk....lasinoah(sp) is supposed to be a good one to

Have you had her checked for a tongue tie? DS would do this with bottles. He learned the wrong way to nurse from me but he couldn't get a correct latch on a bottle and would choke. He didn't get his tongue fixed until 5 months old because they said it wasn't a big deal since he was gaining. We had some success with comotomo and the lansinoh momma bottle.

Are you feeding her upright & holding the bottle parallel to the floor? That may help if she's having trouble with the slowest flow nipple.

Yes I am. She's also still very flemmy, I have a doctors appointment for tomorrow, I never thought of a tongue tie but she always has hers stuck out, but I kind of looked and I think she might
