Just curious who breastfed & who bottle fed :) I’m going to bottle feed even though I have been told endless of times…

hi breastfeeding mom here, its funny as i have the same feeling about bottles as you have about breasts haha. but it doesn't matter how you feed aslong as that babe I'd getting fed, you do what's best for you. You know your body and your baby best 🤘❤

I chose to bottle feed both of mine. It worked for us & I'd choose to again. It just comes down to the individual & what works for them as a family. I really don't get why people care how other people feed their kids 🤔 lol

@em93bbourn yeh I'm first one to admit that I do breastfeeding as it's the easy option in my eyes. You bottle feeding mom's have all that extra work of measuring and sterilising so I praise you. I just eat all day and latch the baby on when she wants it haha 🙃

@katiechurchill, Yeah I can’t stand the smell of formula in the bottle once baby’s been fed! You know when you open the bottle to clean it and it just stinks of stale milk 🤮x

@katiechurchill, I knew you had to do it to express but they normally just leak on their own lol glad they’re not yet coz I get so emotional when they leak!xx

@katiechurchill, I asked a midwife at hospital on Tuesday and she just said it’s because I’m not massaging them or anything xx

@em93bbourn, I was & true they don’t wanna be messin with us lol after everything we go through and it was like the hottest day that year so was boiling hot on the ward 🙈

Yeah she wasn’t nice at all, definitely needs to improve her way of speaking to patients, by maybe not talking to them lol.

Ah trust me I nearly did, but I shut her down by sayin what I said she couldn’t argue as it’s 100% true. She tried being nice after that lol. Bottles are just as good, as long as baby is fed that’s what matters xx

@katiechurchill, haha mine are huge hun my mum calls me Dolly Parton 😩 but with my other 2 kids they were leaking around the 20 week mark. I’m 30 weeks now and still nothing xx

@melanie-spiritmedium i think mine did with my 1st when i was 18 weeks pregnant hunni but iv got snall bobs any way but there feeling really heavy 🤣🤣🤣the best time is after having baba thay blow up and i have boobies lmao hahha xxx

@em93bbourn, Yeah I’m a single mummy again so it’ll be easier for me at night although I’ve got a bottle prep machine to make day feeds quicker too haha! @katiechurchill, mine are still not leaking it’s starting to make me wonder! 🤔xx

@em93bbourn, It made night feeds easier as I didn’t have to get up to make bottles lol I breastfed all night and bottle fed all day xx

I did combination feeding with both of mine and planning on doing it again depending on my blood sugar etc xx

@em93bbourn and most of the midwifes thses day havnt got children so thay dont know how a pregnant women feels with all yhe hormones and the really sore boobies after haveing a baby xxx

@x-t-x, omg that’s so rude I’d be fuming they don’t want to mess with a pregnant woman with all the hormones going about us... god she sounds so stubborn Id have lost me rag lol and yeah absolutely that’s all that matters and bottles are just as good as breast! Xxx

I started off breastfeeding but lil man had a bit of a drop to the left side of his mouth so was hard for him to latch etc, we was in hospital for 4 days where I was breastfeeding, hand expressing into a tiny lil medication cup at times when he couldn’t latch on, but the bottle suited him more. Then I met a so called breastfeeding ‘expert’ finally who was basically 100% attitude due to me sayin I’ve let him have a bottle, she even told me ‘well if you tell me you want to breastfeed I’m telling them to no longer allow him to have a bottle’ I was furious! & replied with ‘well all I care about is that he gets fed so looks like I’ll be bottle feeding then’ I said more but that’s the main bit lol she wasn’t happy and tried to push me back into breastfeeding. I stuck to what I said and eventually she left. I did try breastfeeding more at home but he was so much better with a bottle so I just stayed with it. All that matters is bubs gets fed xx

@em93bbourn thay tried to with me wen i had my daughter thay said its healther and thay kept trying to push me in to it but i told them its my body and my baby i will feed my baby how i wnt to so stop faulseing me and thay stoped after that coz thay knew i was getting fed up with them trying to xxxx

@em93bbourn, she had her first feed which was the most important so I wasn’t too bummed she didn’t latch after as she got all the nutrients from colostrum xxx

I gave Harper her first feed on breast but she wouldn’t latch after that so had to bottle feed 😊xxx

I've never wanted to breastfeed always knew I would bottle feed, I used to get it too breast is best! as long baby is being fed I don't see it matters that much, they had the little bottles of cow and gate at hospital too not one of them asked if I was breastfeeding I had it wrote in my notes I would bottle feed xx

@michellewiggins1985, I had it with a midwife not long ago she didn’t stop talking about it for 15 minuets I said I have read about both & made up my mind and she just went on 🙈 but as long as they don’t when my baby is here 😂 xx

They tried pressuring me but I just said I'm going to bottle feed I don't want to breast feed and I'm not going to and they left it there xx

@abbyrose, yeah that’s what I thought :) midwives have put pressure on me previously to breast feed I just wondered if my choice to bottle feed was not right lol but I’m glad you’ve said that hun I think your right fed is fed ha x

I bottle fed I knew from the start i didn't want to breast feed. Fed is the best doesn't matter if it's bottle or Brest x
