Baby won't stop crying and nursing ?

no he is probably using your boob as a paci.. you will have to pay more attention to when he is done eating so you don't leave the boob in his mouth and he is falling asleep and using it as a paci.. hopefully if you have one on hand try switching it out for the nipple and see if that calms him down.

It could be a couple things but I think 4 weeks is a growth spurt time. Baby's probably also using you as a pacifier/for comfort. Hang in there mama!

I went through the same thing with my son when he was a baby. He would cry all night long and just want to suck on my boob all night long, but during the day he was different and didnt need the boob all day. After a few looong frustrating nights, I ended up pumping and found that one of my breast wasnt producing much milk at all, so I ended up doing a combo of pumping and nursing. Before I went to bed I made sure he had a bottle and went to bed full, then the next feeding I would nurse, then the next a bottle. I mostly gave him bottles during the day too, hoping that maybe he wouldnt become too attached to my nips. That seemed to work best for us, he would at least let me put him down to sleep for about 3 hours at at time. But it eventually got to a point that I simply couldnt keep up with his demand and had to supplement with formula.

Also, keep in mind that what you eat, your baby eats through your milk. Maybe you ate something that made him fussy? Its hard trying to figure out what foods might make him fussy, but maybe you ate something new? My cousins baby will get fussy if she eats chocolate chip cookies and then nurses. Just something to keep in mind...
