Membrane sweep Just got my membrane sweep today and was wonder what your experience was with it. Any success stories?…

I knowwwwwww. I never had menstrual cramps, just back pain so when I so have a cramp, it's pretty bad. I can only imagine how labour is gonna be. xD

You sort of get used to the feeling. The sweep was a little uncomfortable but short. remember you have childbirth ahead of you. This kind of pain is nothing compared to that!

Membrane sweeps sound really painful for afterwards e.e my cervix has been checked once at 35 weeks and that hurt. Even afterwards I hurt. e.e I'm not looking forward to being checked or swept.

How long do I wait to see if it actually worked?

If you aren't even close to labor it really won't help.

Mine worked because I was already in labor. I was just stuck at 5 cm for days. I went into full labor that night and delivered 8 hrs later.

Had it done my last pregnancy and it didn't work. Two weeks later I was induced so good luck with that!

I didn't do anything abnormal after mine and went into labor about 12 hrs later

Did you do anything specially after it? Like stay active? Take EPO? I just walked up an incline for 30 min and am trying to stay active.. Hope it helps!

With my last baby 2 years ago I had mine swept at 39 weeks and about 4 or 5 hours after having it done my water broke.
