Anyone have a membrane sweep done.?

Me! At 41 weeks. Had my son the same day.

I did with my last pregnancy. Didn’t work for me sadly. Had to be induced.

Had my second one day today

@jusjanelle_, later that night I had some discomfort yes but 2 days later I started active labor and was admitted.

@caylintay oh okay. I'm having alot of discomfort

@jusjanelle_, totally normal! Especially when being messed with down there. If it gets extreme or you start contractions call your doc :) hopefully it works!

@jusjanelle_, I was cramping right after. Contractions didn’t start until I lost my mucus plug a couple of hours later. By 7 pm, I was in labor at home in the bathtub. I left for the hospital at 9:30. I was 8 cm dilated when I got there. My water broke when I got into labor and delivery. I pushed less than 5 times, and his beautiful pouty lip let out the sweetest cry.

Praying you have an easy birth too! It may take an extra sweep, but that baby is coming! 😊
