My son went into his own room at 10 weeks. He had outgrown his Moses basket and we couldn't fit the cot in our room. He was o lay waking once in the night about 3am. I must admit tho, the first night he slept right through I woke up and panicked something was wrong. Just do whatever you feel is right, it is different for all families x

At 10 days old and he only slept through handful of times. He is 7 1/2 month old. He's getting better after I stopped bf and eating 3 meals a day. He only wakes up 1-2 on average instead of 3-4 times.

9 months and still in my bedroom. I'm not ready to let him go plus he still wakes up at night so it's easier on me sleep wise

7 months when she outgrew her crib. She is 12 months now and still wakes twice at night to be fed.

We moved Bethany at 7 months, but she didn't start sleeping through regularly until recently (she's nearly 10 months old). Even now she doesn't sleep through every night, more like 4 or 5 out of 7.

Part of the reason we left it that long was that we're in a town house & her room is on a different floor to us (the top floor is more like a master suite) - but also because we moved house when she was 6 weeks old & her room wasn't decorated or anything until Easter.

Around 5-6 months and it was only because we had been on holiday and changed his room when we came back due to him being a little unsettled although he was sleeping though at this point. Also my husband kept disturbing him during night and on a morning when getting up for work. I think it will prob be same with this baby when its here although il see how i feel at the time lol. x

We did our first at 6 weeks ? she was getting frustrated with the lack of space in the Moses basket. She wasn't sleeping through but that must have been why as when we put her in her cot in her room she slept great! Our 2nd daughter is 10 weeks and still in with us as we need to wait for her to sleep through before they can share x

4 months......& our mattress has been on the floor of his room since! ?

About the SIDS....I was thinking this the other day, they say don't let babies get too hot etc. cos they can stop breathing 'cos they think they're back in the womb yet swaddling is recommended & so are things like ewan the dream sheep with a heartbeat and swoosh sounds both with the purpose of making a baby feel back in the womb.... ?!?! ?
