co sleeping

It's there anyone out there that co sleeps? If so what are the ages of your children and when do you start to put them in their own bed?

Комментарии

I coslept with my first for 20 months them he went into a pack n play. At 2 years and 2 months we put him in a toddler bed next to us. He still climbs into bed ALOT. I really need him in his own room.

My 6 month old starts his night in his pack n play but usually ends the night in bed because I'll leave the room and go to the guest room depending how often he wakes.

Since my first was so hard and still is to get out of our bed I've never really had our baby in our bed. I try my hardest to keep him in a pack n play. His naps are either in his crib or his pack n play.

I’ve co slept with all mine until age 2. My current almost 2 year old were trying to get in her own bed but nothing is working I’m due in March so I have a few months to try to get her out I have no idea what to do. She has to sleep on top of me as well so it’s not like I could just scoot her over in our California kind to make room for baby. I’m getting nervous and short of cio method which I absolutely do not wanna do I’m at a loss as to what to do anymore. I put a tv in her room she will watch it for like 5 minutes and come back I’ve tried moving her after she falls asleep but she always ends up back. I’ve tried just shutting the door but she freaks out. My other 3 went fairly easily. I even tried putting a toddler bed in my room but she won’t sleep in it ?

Dd still co-sleeps and breastfeeds at 12 months. I’m hoping that as soon as she’s weaned off we can get her to sleep in her own bed. Hopefully that’ll be soon though lol

ETA: We started co-sleeping around 6 months but had her in her bassinet next to our bed since her birth.

My dd will be 3 in a week and she cosleeps with me pretty much because I'm selfish and want all the cuddles I can get. Now that she is going to be a big sister though we are going to transition her to her own bed. She loves her bed so I know she will sleep by herself most nights but this mama heart wants her to stay little forever ?

Mine are 3 and 4 1/2 and both still co sleep with me ! I think the longer u leave them, the harder it becomes to get them into their own. bed.

I did at one point, bc thats the only way he would sleep for longer periods of time. However, if I was too exhausted he woukd go into his pack n play. Once he started rolling both ways, he no longer slept with me bc he would be all over the bed and I didnt want him rolling off the top.

I cosleep with my son when he won't sleep in his cot. I stopped cosleeping every night around 3 months but occasionally during a growth spurt he'll be fussy and won't sleep without me in bed with him

We cosleep with our 14 month daughter. I tried to put her in her crib and start the transition last night, but SO got upset ? He works 16 hours most days, so he only sees her for dinner pretty much, and he likes having her close by for bedtime. We live in a 2 bedroom house, and the rooms aren't close together, so I think we'll wait to transition for a bit longer.

Wow all this is this is really helpful I only ask because me and my husband cuz sleep with our two youngest they are one and two and we have a king size bed and it's full they're very wild sleepers. It's so hard for my husband to come to terms with them having their own bed I think he has separation anxiety as well. I'm also pregnant 4 months pregnant so it has become incredibly uncomfortable and only going to get even more uncomfortable if something isn't done ASAP.

I have co-slept with all four of mine until they were 3 (14,10,5,4). Except for dd3. Her and her younger sister (dd4) are 11 months a part. So she got to stay until she was 4. It took me about 5 weeks to transition them from my bed, to their bed in my room, to their bed in their room.

For week 1: I let them fall asleep in my bed, then moved them to their bed in my room.

For week 2: I would lay down with them in their bed in our room, until they fell asleep.

For week 3: I would lay down with them in their bed, in their room, until they fell asleep.

For week 4: I would read to them until they fell asleep.

For week 5: I would read one book to them, and then leave.

Anytime they woke up during the night, I would always take them back to their bed. I would just sit on their bed, and rub their back until they went back to sleep.

I know some may not agree, or think that is to long, but it is what worked for us. It has been over a year since my youngest 2 have been in their room. Rarely do they wake up during the night anymore, and they both sleep 9-12 hours a night.

Co sleeping and breastfeeding a 22 month old ?

My son is 3.5 and my daughter is 2, they're still in my bed. I'm 6 months pregnant, and if I have to, I'll throw a twin mattress on my kids' room floor to share just me and new baby.

My son's 3 1/2 and still co sleeps with us. Has since day 1. I love it but at the same time I'm ready for him to get out lol he's such a bed hog ? I'm hoping by the time baby is here he will be comfortable in his own room. We're having baby sleep in our room in a bassinet for the first few weeks so I don't want baby to effect my son's sleeping.

Mine will be 1 In two days too. We started co-sleeping at 6 weeks old. I tried putting dd in her room when she was 6 months old. It lasted until 8 months and I brought her back to bed with me. Around that time she developed bad separation anxiety and I felt bad for her. My only regret is listening to other people and trying to get her out of my bed. It will happen when we are both ready for it. I love having her with me all night.

My son will be 12 months in 2 days. He still co sleeps. 1 he still nurses when he wants, 2 his sleep pattern has went all crazy so he's still mostly in our bed. Since he gets up at night about 2 to 3 hours after being put down for the night as well as staying up for at least 2 to 2 1/2 hours and I'm not sleeping I keep him with me. This is been about 2 to 3 weeks this goes on.

My daughter is 2 and we have bed shared since the beginning. About 6 months ago we moved her out of our room. Since daddy is a very light sleeper. Now DD and I share her full size bed in her room.

I still co sleep with my 18month old. It works for us

I got our son in his bed around 17-18 months. He still came up in the bed a few times a night until 2 years and then he started sleeping through the night. He does come up in the morning now to nurse and snooze for 15 minutes or so.

DS is 7 months and still in our bed. I tried getting him to sleep in his own bed but he was not having it lol

Co-slept until about a year old with each, but started transitioning at 6-8 months with them

We coslept most of the first year with baby #1. We put him in his room shortly after his first birthday, but he would still come into our bed at some point in the night almost every night. He started doing better around 23 months, so we switched to a twin bed. Since then he hasn't even been interested in coming to our room. He wants one of us to lay in there in the early morning sometimes, but I can live with that.

I co slept with DS from 8 weeks to 18 months. He’s almost 2 and has now been in his crib for 6 months.

We still cosleep with my dd who is 2, I love Co sleeping and so does she, but she's starting to take up too much of the bed lol. I keep saying I'm going to move her into her own bed soon, but I'm sure it's going to be tricky.
