Thank you so much for all the advice! I do not want to spend too much $$ on fancy stuff like boots and jackets if they are unnecessary. I want to make sure my little boy is warm and comfortable, nothing more for now. When he starts walking, of course everything will be bought. So for now I shall get good socks and zipup snowsuits :)

I second the one piece zip up snow suit. You don't need mittens, hats and boots at this stage if you purchase a fleece and regular snow suit (I'd do two, one for colder days! If you choose to do a hat, get one that straps underneath their neck with velcro.

I never used boots, just a snowsuit when out in stroller and extra blankets when going to the car. They aren't walking yet, just need to stay warm. Plus they outgrow things so quickly it's not worth the money. Even in fall, I'd just slip extra hiking socks of mine over her legs when she was in the carrier for an extra layer of warmth. It's a pain to do tons of bundling so if you find a one piece suit with zips it's easier. Plus hats. If the sleeves are long you might not bother with mitts.

I found most mittens do not stay on their hands since the elastics are usually still too big. BUT at Walmart and Kmart there is a type of mitten (not sure of brand) where there are three in a pack, all white and have one thin colored line (mint, blue, pink). The elastics in these are a little tighter and work very well! Used them for all 3 DD's! Just might need to go buy some new ones though if #4 turns out to be a boy....

I did like the disposable underwear, but that's me. Just that the hospital always gave me extras and i never had to worry about buying regular pads and leaking or other accidents. At least the hospital ones covered well!

If you have the extra $$$ and want to buy all the cute lil boots it's your choice. Otherwise long as the baby is always bundled well socks are good. We even put socks on under full sleepers when going out during winter time. But it all depends on you and how much 'extras' you are willing to put on and off the baby when going places. Our JJ Cole bundle and even one heavy blanket always kept our kids warm- sometimes too much!

You can get a baby bunting that covers their head, feet and hands for outdoors. I'd still buy winter clothes too.

The car seat covers that fit snugly over the seat and open over baby's face are fabulous.

Not a FTM here so as far as baby stuff all of the above on that.

Diaper very few newborn they do grow out of those quickly... Size 1's and 2's get plenty...

Newborn clothes slim few... Maybe only onsies other than that 0-3 and 3-6.

Disposable panties SUCK!!! yes the hospital will give u some...

And INFINITY Always overnight pads... Are the Best!!! And find u a bomb gurttle to help get ur body back to where u want it to be.... Really hope that helps!! =)

on the baby stuff get some. you may or may not use iit. it depends on the baby..some like it some don't.

on diapers. don't get a lot if newborn. odds are they won't fit them for very long same with newborn clothes.

mommy stuff.

get heavy flow over night pads. or you can get depends. I hear some people.like depends. I was recommended always brand.

hope this helped :)

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
