Fundal height
Has anyone had their uterus measure on track but still had a big baby? Because I won't have another ultrasound and I'm praying I have a baby less than 8 lbs lol. My uterus always measures right on track.
I've been measuring about 2 weeks ahead my whole pregnancy. My Dr. thinks I'm in track for an 8lb baby. Our 20 wk scan his legs and arms were super long (me and my hubby are both tall) ? I'd much rather him be long than wide lol. We will do one more quick peak just to check his position, so I wonder if they will guess weight then too.
It's hard to have any accurate measurement. When I had growth ultrasounds last time my guy was measuring smaller, like 30 percentile. When he was born at 39 weeks he was 8lb, 12oz. It was really surprising because I was 7.4 and my husband was like 6.5...I just make big babies I guess? This time I'm hoping I don't end up with a 10lb-er! :)
With my first I measured on track the whole time and had a 20.5 inch 7.11 lbs baby boy at 40+1. With this baby I've been measuring 2 weeks ahead (currently 32 weeks) they already guessing I'm having a 8lbs + baby boy with this one, but since I'm having a repeat c-section they said it doesn't matter. ???
I measured on track with my 1st. He was born at 39+2 weighing 6lbs5oz.
I measured 5 week ahead with my 2nd and he was born at 40+4 weeks weighing 8lbs 3oz.
I'm 31 weeks now with my 3rd and at 28 weeks was measuring 4 weeks ahead, baby was transverse. I got remeasured at 30 weeks and now measuring 2 weeks ahead, baby is breech. I think it all depends what position baby is in.
I had an office visit today for something else and she measured my tummy she said I'm measuring about one week smaller but it's not concerning. I won't get an US to measure size. Only if they are concerned baby isn't head down but it was confirmed today by her feeling around she's head down
I wish there was some way to know for sure! I know even ultrasound can be off. But I guess I'll figure it out when he gets here. I don't think my family generally makes big babies though and I was 7 lb 7 oz. I just know some women on my mom's side were not able to deliver vaginally because of their pelvis being too narrow, so I am just praying same doesn't happen to me.
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Appointment went well baby boys heart rate is nice and strong, I'm measuring right on track and I gained 4 pounds that puts me at 140 also signed to get my tubes tied if I only have to have an emergency c-section otherwise I'm getting the essure 😊 now home to eat 😁
So for mommies that have had babies already when you measured ahead did they induce you? Since I'm measuring 4 weeks ahead I was wondering if I'd be induced.

I am pregnant with my first baby and I had taken 8dpos for real i thought it was crazy but I'm still feeling like there's something in my uterus or my stomach for real #myfirstpost
Yeah they told me they will do an ultrasound at 36 weeks if they can't determine his position by feeling for him. I know he's been head down though, just hoping he doesn't flip.
