Rant: don't you dare kiss my DD!

I'd have never let him hold her. People are crazy and could just run away with her.

It would have bothered me to have someone I know do that ... but this was someone you dont even know putting their germy lips all over your baby. I would have been beyond upset and I would have made sure that he knew about it. I also wouldn't have let him hold my baby especially since You didn't know him. . But I understand sometimes we didn't want to be really rude. I would have just said plain no. You have a right to be upset. . When babies are new a lit of things irritate their skin.

I wouldve said no sorry .

I always used the excuse, "Sorry but my daughter won't let strangers hold her." Solves the problem without making you seem rude.

Geez, you try to be nice and people don't know boundaries ....you want to say really?

I was at Walmart this morning wearing DD. This lady probably in her late 60's came up to me at asked if she could touch her and I said ok. She bent over and kissed her on her cheek, which made me uncomfortable because well she just kissed my baby and because she was so close to my personal space.

I was about to back up and make an excuse to leave but then she started talking about how her granddaughter just had her first baby that was unfortunately born sleeping and then she started to cry and tell me how precious life is.

It was a sad moment, but to see her smile over my little baby made my day.

that should be awkward... I would let a stranger hold my babies even worst if they are kissing them ?... I understand do I would probably not say anything neither. and just be like wtf?? jus happened

You guys are nice. Besides me not letting a stranger even get close to my baby, I definitely would have caused a scene if they kissed him.

Ugh my father in law did that to my daughter and it bothered me! I didn't say anything cuz it's my father in law.. But if it was a stranger I'd be pissed! I would of def said something

I didn't think he could kidnap her cause he was working there and there were other people around including me and my mom and it was a small store. I wouldn't have done it in a bigger store or if we were alone.

But I def won't be letting other strangers hold my baby for now on!

A stranger wouldn't have held my daughter in the first place.

It's actually kind of weird to let a total random stranger hold your baby.

It would depend. I'm trying really hard to get the 'village' mentality in my head but at the same time I would be thinking about where his lips have been and if he is sick and what not lol.

Uhm how do I put this nicely. F*ck no! I would have never let him hold her to begin with! I'm sorry but if I don't know you, you don't get to touch my child! I would have had a huge fit in the middle of the store!
