Rant-_-... My friend asked me to watch her dd while she took someone to do something at about 7ish & said "it won't take…

i hope things work out for the lil girl and the mom looses her rights to the child until she gets some serious help .

Oh & I did call CPS this morning, not only because of her mothers actions but because her child was telling me things about her " mommy " no 3 year old should be seeing or even talking about, she told me about her mommy putting "reses"(moms friend)weewee in her mouth. I flipped out on Everyone. Why in the Hell is this three year old seeing her mom give oral sex! It pisses me off, the case worker said she has had other calls from family members of the girl so it would be took very seriously. Also this child's language is that of a perverted old drunk guy, she cusses! She's only 3 I'm so glad I called her mother is garbage In my eyes, iv been trying to reach out to this girl forever. It's time the law handles her now.

And no everyone , I had called her mom when finding out she had been drinking no way I would let that idiot leave & put her child I'm harms way!

And she had texted me while she was being pulled over saying that she was probably going to be arrested because he asked her if she would be willing to do a sobriety test , but luckily he didn't. I really wish he would have , she could have killed someone drinking and driving! We are no longer friends.

My bad every one she showed up at 330 drunk as piss & told me about how she just hooked up with some random from work I calmly had her mother come get the child & told her to gtfo... I have since not talked to her & will not ever again!

Lol Beck I'm glad I'm not the only one who realized that the friend wasn't arrested and very well could still have her phone.

But if there's no update on this post, I'm almost assuming she DID wind up getting arrested and OP is having to deal with child-watching arrangements now .

You guys do realize that the op only said her friend had been pulled over and that the officer was about to give her a breathalyzer test right? It didn't say she had been arrested so there's no reason her phone would have been taken away yet. However, I'm not sure how she would be able to find the time to text on a situation like that.

I still think this girl is making things up. She might have met some guy n spending the night? Or she didn't feel like taking care of the baby so she decided to go home and sleep?

They don't take any personal belongings until after she is in the jails building. She indeed could have text you while in cuffs in a cop car. And if you call the jail they will tell you if she is in holding, what her bond is, and what her charges are. All of that is public information because she committed a crime. Why do you think criminals mugshots and criminal charges are put on the news or in the paper? They have zero say because it is public info anyone can get.

Wow. Yes I had a friend like that who asked me to watch her daughter at 11am and she would be back at 1pm n I had to be to work at 3 n I didn't have no type of nap! I had to leave for work at 2:30 n she didn't come til after I left for work and I was super pissed. She knew I needed a nap. I rant n rave all the time when you ask Someone to watch your kid you need to have a drop off n a pick up time! It's not fair to the person who is watching the kid

Long ago before I had children and when I was young and dumb I got arrested for DUI and the police let me use my cell before I got booked to let someone know what happened to me. Idk about your state but here unless you cant get a ride or pose a threat of some sort they write up your ticket officially arrest you then send you home right away. It took about 2 hours from being pulled over till when I was home for the whole ordeal. Once I had my court date then the judge set up when I actually did my jail time (24 hours in my state is mandatory) depending on the full charges so you can make work/family arrangements. Let me tell you I learned my lesson and have never EVER driven under the influence again!

I have an older sister just like that. She is in jail currently, but she is always so willing to drop off her kids then go get drunk or do drugs without letting anyone know. Many hours later she would finally show up. I got so pissed the last time that I have cut all ties from her and that has been several years now. Best decision I have ever made!

Call cps get them to look after her kid then at least you can go into work so you can earn to look after your own! Her kid isn't your responsibility. If you can't get in touch with her family to take her then it's going to have to be cps. You've already been a good friend by watching her for so long! X

I'm not usually one to call cps, but I think that warrants a call. Let them know she was planning to drive drunk with her daughter and that you want help contacting her family. That poor baby could have been killed.

How is she texting you if she's arrested? They take away your cellphone when you're in jail. I don't believe her story at all!

Ill give your "friend" the benefit of saying maybe they let her use her phone though I doubt it.

My now ex called from police station I think (private number) when he was getting ready to be booked for the weekend (deal w the judge so he wouldn't lose his job). I also know he called his sister too... Maybe the officer felt bad and let her use her phone....

I feel bad for the baby :( I don't understand how a mother can have the heart to just leave their baby somewhere and not worry about what they might be needing or going through. I am still expecting my first baby, but even when I had my stepdaughter, I wouldn't dare leave her anywhere. I was so paranoid and a worrier lol. You're a good friend, sucks she's such a loser.

I agree with checking her story out. Sounds like she wanted the whole weekend to party. What a user. That's not a friend. Call her family to come and get her child. And let them know what happened. I bet she's pulled the same stunt on them.

I would definitely check into her story. Doesn't make sense. If she was at the point of getting a breathalyzer, when would she have time to text you? I'm sure they wouldn't let her get on her phone. "Officer can you hold on a sec, I gotta text my friend who is watching my baby."

It sounds like either her family or child services needs to take care of this situation. Don't tolerate it her daughter doesn't need to be in an environment that is so obviously bad for her!!!

The detention center here will tell you if they are holding someone and what the charges are.

You guys are right. I have never been in jail ( knocks on wood) but I thought you can't use your cell and can make only one phone call. So usually people will call a lawyer or for bails. Her story is not adding up IMO.

She is probably using jail as an excuse, so that she doesnt have to step up and be a parent. I would call her family and have someone get the child....and then I would end all communication with your "friend." To be completely honest... I would call the police station and ask if she was really picked up...explain to the officer on the phone that you have the girl's child and need to make arrangements for someone to take care of her. If she is in jail.... an officer will most likely help you out ... if she's not.... well then you know how terrible of a friend she actually is.

Since you're friends I am sure you know her family? I would call them right up and tell them to pick that little girl up and explain the whole situation. What an awful mom and friend. I would not communicate with her anymore.

Agreed with Samara. You do not need "friends" like this in your life. 2days in a row to go party. I'm sorry but if I were you this is the end of the so called friendship. I'm not a mean person but from my experiences I'm 30 now. People do not change I have friends that I know since grades school that I am no longer friends with because they are just manipulative. Once they can get away with something they will push and push for more. Until you tell them you will not accept their friendship anymore then they will turn the story around and make you sounds like a bad person and friends. It hurt but I'm over it now I'm grown and realized that I shouldn't let people like that bring me down because I stood up for myself.

So you tell her to call her sister, cousin, mom or whoever to come n pick up her daughter because you have job to attend to so you can feed and support your child. I hope things will work out for you.

Yeah I'm pissed she just texted me said she had been drinking mind you she's only 20 & just got pulled over & the officer wants to breathalyzer test her, she said "I'm f*** ed, I don't want to go to jail". Apparently she was going 42mph in a 20mph zone! Iv told her time after time about the police around where I live, she didn't listen. And now what I'm stuck watching her child until Monday?! She won't be out of jail until then! I'm livid right now. I have to work tomorrow....-_- smh

I agree with maybaby. In the meantime take her to the bathroom in the night until her mom does get her.

Why don't you just call your friend and tell her to come get her daughter.
