Misoprostol
At first I would like to say I'm so very sorry for all of your losses. I hope everyone will get their little bean soon.
On the ultrasound it showed something very small left like a blood clot. He wasn't concerned and said it should come out on its own. He's testing my HCG levels once next Friday.
I've pretty much stopped bleeding and I'm wondering what happens if I don't pass it? He said to give it 2 weeks from yesterday and I'd know because I'd keep bleeding but like I've said I'm slowing down or stopping.
I also woke up with cramps yesterday but nothing came from them. Today I woke up with cramps and I wiped there was nothing at all.
I noticed too my stomach is very bloated and uterus tender. He didn't even feel my stomach or uterus is that normal?
I just want this part to be over so I can be intimate with my husband and try again.
@isaworld how did you Dr appt go?
I had mine today. Everything looked fine so now I just have to get blood work done once a week till my levels go down below 5.
@isaworld I'm sorry it's taking so long for you to finish the process. I hope tomorrow you get good news and you can finally put this behind you. Please let me know how your app went.
Yeah I think you are right. When I went to my app Dr told me that sac is growing but not the baby. So in your case everything would be bigger since you were farther along. Thinking about you!
@locket3 yeah I just hope I passed everything and won't have to take a other one. I just worry I didn't bleed that much or that only small amount of blood clots came out. But you are right I would not wish that to my worst enemy either.
Yes, I'm checking IVF forum everyday ?
I thought I was done with everything passing. I passed the baby, placenta, lots of blood, clots, and tissue.
However last night I started having contractions again and passed a VERY large clump of tissue with some white which my dr mentioned white is pregnancy tissue. So I'm hoping I am done my ultrasound is tomorrow to confirm it's all gone.
It was kinda scary seeing it. My baby passed at 13 weeks but I didn't find out until 16 so I wonder if everything kept growing to a 16 week size because my body didn't know
And that's why there was so much and so big??? Anyone know?
I'm glad u didn't suffer too much! I think at easy to say everyone is different, but most people are pretty ok with the misoprostol, but a few really do suffer ;-(
I wouldn't wish this ny worst enemy either! It's awful. An ivf lose is pure hell... But girls we will get there! Are u on the IVF site? Xxx
@gdanielle I'm so sorry for your loss and that you had to go through such a traumatic experience. I pray it won't happen again ans next pregnancy will be the one :) Maybe my experience is different because I wasn't as far along as you were. It happened at 7 weeks but the sac was smaller and empty. I didn't bleed a lot. I'm hoping I passed everything. I was cramping a little bit more last night but no more clots.
The most important thing is that we are strong ladies and we won't let this experience defeat us and give up on our dream. We are fighters :)!
@beth1979 that's so awful it lasted for so long :( I hope you won't have to go through this ever again!
I took misoprostol for a 12 week missed miscarriage. Baby had "disintegrated" but sac and all was 12 wk size. I had awful contractions the first day, but no bleeding. It skipped a day, and the third day was pure hell. Contractions, way too much blood loss ending in an er trip & almost a coma, and emergency d&c.
How you have a good experience with it and everything goes well, but remember, if you think you are bleeding too much, go to the er.
Sorry about your loss, it's been a year for me and it still is not easy to think about, but it does get a little easier to deal with.
My miscarriage lasted 11 days before finally having to have a D&C. I bled so bad and started having such painful constant contractions that I was shaking from head to toe and ended up in ER. I had also used IVF to get our baby which made the loss even harder for us... I'm sorry for everyone's loss! I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. Praying for us all to have sticky babies!
I took the pill at 6 and by 7 I could already feel mild cramps which were getting stronger and more painful with each hour. By 10 I went to the bathroom and I passes few big clots and after cramping got better. I took more lain meds and I was able to sleep through the night. This morning I passed few more clots and that's it. Now I'm just bleeding but not much. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.
@isaworld thank you. You are right we just need to be strong and positive and belive that our dream of having a child will come true.
@locket3 my heart is aching to hear that. Try to stay positive and I pray next time will be the one and who knows maybe you will have twins. This journey is not easy but let's try to focus at the final result and find that strength to fight.
@locket3 I'm so sorry for your loss. Yes, it's never easy to go through something like this. Do you have to start the whole process from the beginning or do you have frozen embies left? I'm just frustrated. How many times do I have to go through losses to finally get my little bean?! Ahhhh
@isaworld you are absolutely right. Things like this do get you closer with your spouse and their support makes wonders. We are planning on watching The Following tonight ;)
I've just gone through this and took misoprostol one week ago today. I was 10 weeks but baby measured 7.
Blood wise I found it not too bad to be honest - most of it came out down the toilet and the baby passed down the toilet too. So I didn't see much.
I took the tablet at 8am and I had light cramping from 1pm onwards. Around 3pm I started getting real bad cramps. Then by 4:30 the cramp was horrendous like labour pains I couldn't move. I went to the toilet at 5:30 and it came out then. As soon as the baby was out the cramping almost stopped. The following day I had like a period and a few clots but nothing much.
I'd say the worst thing was the cramps, the bleeding wasn't as bad as I thought.
You can do it! I made sure i stayed home all day and for the rest of the week.
If I'm honest, emotionally I'm finding it hard now, but physically I'm fine now.
Good luck, take it easy xxxx
Yes my husband feels the same talking to his brother who went through the same has helped.
He also feels so helpless and wishes he could do more.
I think this is the time we can get closer with out husbands and lean on them. Ask them for help or what we need. I've had him go to the store for me or make food for me or even just hold me
Oh my goodness I'm so very sorry :( I pray it gets better and easier for you. Yes, now it's time just for happy moments.
I'm thinking about maybe going somewhere with my husband for a little bit before we decided for round #2 with ivf. My husband is angry and so disappointed :( We had such high hopes for this pregnancy...
I took it at 4pm and passed the baby and placenta by almost 9pm
Be prepared for big gushes of blood.
I feel ok today still bleeding a little and crampy
I'm taking the week off work as the dr suggested.
Unfortunately today or tomorrow I have to put my dog down too. It's just too much loss at once. But he's old and it's his time but I feel bad for my 3 year old and other dog who can't understand that :( we've had him since 6 weeks and I got him as a valentines present for my husband. We've had over 10 years with him he's a big dog. I asked my dog if he'd go to heaven to help take care of my baby. After this I hope I'm done with loss for quite awhile. We even lost 2 coworkers to a tragic automobile accident 2 weeks ago. It's just been too sad lately :(
I'm 7 weeks
I'm sorry you had to go through this
I will take it at 5 today. I'm going back for a check up on Friday.
How far along are you?
I just did it Friday with my baby that stopped growing at 13 weeks.
There is A LOT of blood. As you will pass everything. I did pass out on the floor so you need to make sure someone is watching over you. It's very emotional too.
You will need lots of thick pads and I got a giant pad to lay on. I take 800mg of ibuprofen every 8 hours too. Be sure to drink lots of water and eat too especially protein and iron rich foods. I had my husband buy me liquid iron. Which helps me not feel as weak.
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
@isaworld how are you feeling? Are you finally done?
I completely understand you. I can't wait to be over with all of this and be intimate with my husband as well. I'm so ready for vacation ;-)
